Did you acquire the ingredients to make this? My Trinity bitters arrived today and I bought some good piloncillo at the mercado. Looking forward to trying them! I can't/won't buy Jim Beam Rye, so I will try it with several other ryes: OF rye, Pikesville, Alberta etc. Also, thinking of flipping the rye:bourbon ratio. So 2oz rye, 1 oz bourbon. This will be FUN!

We did! We were also told that it was only available for sale at their distillery gift shop and wouldn’t be distributed to outside retailers.

Damn, you guys. I'm away from the thread for a week and behind eight pages.
I'm going to be in the Cincinnati area for a few days next month, and I might make the drive down to New Riff and look for this (or other interesting distillery-only bottles). It's only about an hour south of where I'll be staying.
This arrived in the mail a few days ago, haven't had a chance to open it yet but it sounds like fun.

The distillery (24 Distillery Way, Newport, KY 41073) is the best bet for acquiring the Malted Rye.
