I figure what’s a more fair comparison than doing a neck pour of my all time favorite to the neck pour of the Willett. Here’s to science!

peanut and caramel on the nose

I’ve only had B2. I’m sure 1 is incredible as well. And yes…they’re very different ryes but both amazing. I think these two bottles will be only taken out of the cabinet as a pair moving forward. Really enjoyed having these back to back.

Cracked open my ECBP B522 this evening.

Not bad, but I definitely prefer the A122 better. Despite the lower proof, this one drank really hot and ethanol forward for me. Hopefully it'll open up a little once it sits another few weeks.

Give it time. I opened my bottle last month and I had similar thoughts. Had a pour last night and it’s significantly better!

I just bought a bottle in IL while I was in town visiting at Binnys and it was $65. Can't wait to crack it open and see what all the hype is about.
