Thanks for this. Not really sure I have much of anything worth getting samples of, but you never know….
I'm going to give a bunch of these to my son and tell him to fill a few of them every time he comes over. He helped push me down this rabbit hole and has a huge collection. But we always meet up here at my place so I never get to taste his stuff other that the one or two bottles he brings when he comes over.

Right now, these are my favorite readily available BP bourbons in no exact order as batches do vary

Elijah Craig BP whatever....any of them. Always on the shelf, always great
Rare Breed BP, I am revisiting this one right now and it is fantastic. Always on the shelf too
Larceny BP, NOT always on the shelf, but if I try even a little, I can always find it 3x a year. This one also varies greatly release to release.

Those would be my top 3 picks available to me, unless I'm having a stroke and completely forgetting about something else.

edit: Jack Daniels SiB BS gets an honorable nod, especially for ALWAYS being on the shelf. I just don't think it is as good as the 3 above...

What y'all got on your list?

I’ll play along…

ECBP and Larceny BP aren’t that easy to get here, so I can’t say they’re readily available…if they were, they’d definitely be on my list

1. Rare Breed…no brainer
2. Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve
3. Old Forester 1920

JD SBBP also gets honorable mention but only because it’s getting much harder to get here. Almost always on the shelf, it would probably bump OF 1920 IF I could get it a little more frequent.

I have all of the above except Wild Turkey. Never seen and didn't know there was a BP version. Even Rare Breed can be difficult to find at times. Larceny BP is a great pour. Haven't opened my ECBP or JD yet. Goals.

BTW.. Boiler Up people! A huge dismantling of Gonzaga last night and the football team is 1 win from getting the privilege of getting crushed by the winner of the Michigan/Ohio St. Game for the Big Ten Championship.

It’s a good weekend to be a Boilermaker, no doubt. I stayed up and watched the Gonzaga beatdown last night. Painter makes you doubt him, then he finds recruits everybody else ignored and turns them into a ranked team that competes for Big Ten titles.

My list, in order of drinking preference:

Elijah Craig BP - this would be my desert island bottle, even the "not awesome" batches are fantastic. I usally love their C batches the best.

Jack Daniel's SBBP - this is still fairly available by me, cheaper than ECBP and another favorite. People love to knock JD, which is fine as that means more for me lol. Sweet and spicy banana pudding jet fuel.

1792 Full Proof - not quite as readily available as the JD but I know 2-3 stores that almost always have it. A hair cheaper than JD. I love pretty much all of the 1792 lineup and this is one of its best.

Wild Turkey Rare Breed - getting tougher to find now that its common knowledge how good this is, but I can still usually find it pretty easily. Probably the best value on the list.

Wasn't sure if OF 1920 was considered a barrel proof, but if so I would add that as well, probably slotted in just above 1792.

Has anyone ever accidentally stumbled into this website??? How can anyone fall for this. I'll say one thing, they sure put a lot of work into making it look legit.

I understand if you don't even want to click the links. Here are the photos for a good laugh. I love how all these are the exact same price. Easier to set it up, I suppose.

Ive found many sites like this. Even got duped by one once on a bottle of Stagg Jr at MSRP. Luckily, PayPal gave me a refund. But it was a fight.

I was tempted to place an order using a credit card. Visa and MC are pretty good about protecting their cardholders. I don't think it would be a huge risk, but the more I surfed, the more obvious it became that it was a blatant rip-off. Honestly, I think they might get more hits from those of us who might actually buy some of these if their prices were closer to secondary. Hell, that Weller bundle is significantly BELOW MSRP. That's the one that put me over the edge of reality.
