Because Weller grows on trees there from what I hear
No. SR is easy to get, but not anything else. Got to have a contact, a relationship, a store with a loyalty points system (what I'm doing) or be willing to pay secondary.

I'm saving the points I earn (1 ticket for every $20 spent) for either a Weller 12 (40 tickets) or Antique 107 (30 tickets) When I have enough tickets, then I can buy the bottle at retail.

My next question, is who completely missed out on Donkey juice (New Riff NAGB)?

I joined this thread just as people were posting their bottle pics.

I know this stuff can be very polarizing, but I loved both batch 2 (11yr) and 3 (13yr). Hoping this batch 4 is even better!

I read that this batch is basically barrels of batch 2 that were intentionally set aside to age for two more years. Have to say that if this neck pour is any indication, this is a really good bottle!

Found this 2021 store pick hiding in the back of the cabinet.

Interesting funk about this one that I just can’t put my finger on. Not the first Old Scout bottle that I’ve noticed a similar funk in as well. Anyone have any experience with the Old Scout lineup? I’m 99% certain this is sourced MGP juice and I’ve never tasted this funk on any of MGP’s stuff except this brand.

I have it because my buddy bought a ton years ago for $20. You cannot buy weller around here. It’s all “allocated”. Even the SR
I think it is $23 here. I have passed on a ton of WSR, passed on it again today. we seem to get it every week here if you show up on the day for allocated drops.

You guys are going to think I'm an idiot. I liked the Old Rip better. The GTS is just so hot. But both were amazing.
I definitely wouldn’t think that. That GTS at basically 139 proof is gonna drink hot for even the most experienced high proof lovers. If you’re not used to that high of an abv, it’s can be an eye opener lol. I can only imagine how intense the flavors are in that pour! If that ORVW is a better version of Antique 107, then that sounds awesome too! They’re both unicorn bottles to most people, so I don’t think there’s nothing wrong with your choice of favorites amongst those two.

I’m very jealous that you got to try both of those in one night  :ROFLMAO:
