I definitely wouldn’t think that. That GTS at basically 139 proof is gonna drink hot for even the most experienced high proof lovers. If you’re not used to that high of an abv, it’s can be an eye opener lol. I can only imagine how intense the flavors are in that pour! If that ORVW is a better version of Antique 107, then that sounds awesome too! They’re both unicorn bottles to most people, so I don’t think there’s nothing wrong with your choice of favorites amongst those two.

Thanks. I just know GTS is pretty close to the top of the mountain for a lot of you guys. I figured since I'd already had a little taste of these two giants that I'd go ahead and crack open what is probably the best bottle that I own. Another hot one, but since I'm home, I can calm it down with a couple of small ice chips. The banana nose filled the air the second I pulled the cork. Another really good high proof sipper.

I have no earthly idea why, but I was craving a taste of Scotch for my after dinner pour. Since I only have one bottle in the cabinet, it was a pretty easy choice.

This is decent and I’m enjoying this a little more than I usually would, but I have to imagine there’s much better available that suits my tastes. It’s just a rabbit hole I don’t care to go down lol
