Bengals fans will Need a few shots after that horrible game with horrible referees and horrible coaching why don’t they just give the ball to Mixon and run the ball ? they never stopped him. that’s how they won last week run the ball especially at the end they getting seven on first down and on second and thIrd down they throw terrible passes . I mean really what the fuck were they doing ? Refs with those bullshit calls and missed obvious calls. I’ve never been so disgusted with the NFL
Mixon scores a TD, I win $680 on a a$10 bet. No, they put Perine in. F me

Shit, Super Bowl might become really expensive this year. Bourbon boards!

I did some sampling this weekend at one of my local stores. The owner is a great resource and has been doing private barrels with most of the distillers since before that was a thing. He gave the PSA that if you haven’t had any of the recent Noah’s Mill, you need to try it. Apparently for the past 4 years Willett has been using much younger and sourced juice, but recent batches are much older Willett. Look for something late 21 or 22, which should be readily available for under $60
Grabbed a 22-30 yesterday. Hopefully I chose wisely.

What are you guys paying for Lost Monarch? Used to be $33 at Total Wine. Now it's $53! Love it for under $40, over $50 not so much.

The others I really like are $70-80, so on that basis alone, it’s a good price. ;)

Light blue dot sticker blind from @BruceWayne

Nose: vanilla, caramel, star anise,

Palate: interesting black licorice, fennel. Reminds me of a light whiskey? Tastes youthful with a burn and a bitter aftertaste

Proof: 115?

Age: young. Possibly aged in a secondary barrel longer to cover up its youthfulness

I believe there's some blends of 10yr old plus in this...

Is there a pattern/reasoning to their batch codes?

Assuming this would be bottled in 2020?

I knew BTAC dropped this morning here. I stood in the freezing cold for an hour and was FIRST. Got in the store, they said they got it, but they don't know what they will be doing with it yet as far as restaurant vs selling to public. Hurried to another store, got there 10min after opening. They got a Pappy, an ER17, and a GTS. They sold in the first 5 min.

I'll never understand how it is state-run yet so inconsistent. Sorry, Jim. That's some bullshit.

Am I the only one here who doesn't have the acronym of every whiskey ever distilled memorized...

Damn… well if the first store chooses to sell to the public will you get first dibs? Did they take down your name?

Went to a very special bottle draft today. I’m exhausted. It was a big disappointment for me… until it wasn’t. More on that next week.

Here’s the pron.

And the bottle share after: I brought Stagg Jr Batch 14 and Smoke Wagon Malted Rye. I broke my dry spell for one day to sample some of these. :sneaky: And @Pinkdan everyone who tried the Smoke Wagon loved it. So it’s just you.:p

Eagle Rare 17yr. George T Stagg
Thanks. Yeah, after thinking on it a bit I realized BTAC = Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.

It's the same with chips. When I first got here all the acronyms drove me CRAZY!!! Eventually I picked up on most of the common ones, but some still throw me for a loop.
