On the nose. Cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar. Reminds me if a russels or WT (Side note I am about 4 pours deep)

Pallet
Ok pallet doesn’t match the nose. It’s not bad, leaves a nice tingle, I would guess 110+.

Maybe a MGP? A kind of tang on it I get from Remus. Nice finish.

After a few drinks this gone down just fine

I purchased this bottle at Nantasket Liquors in RI. The owner was a Chinese man who was very eager to talk bourbon with me and provide samples. This bottle is a barrel proof store pick, and the owner's name is written in Chinese on the bottle.

The proof is 114.2, and the mash bill is unusual. This is an MGP product, and I was very pleased with it. Not bad for $39!

This year’s MM wood finishing release is BEP. I read that it will be on shelves soon, and that it will be the LAST in the series.

I would shank somebody for that JD Barrel Proof Rye @$100/bottle. :D

I don't believe JD has released a barrel proof rye anything since.

I was right on the MGP.
