Nutty not a lot of ethanol
Not a lot of flavor, but I am several pours deep in 132 proof jdsbbp.
Oaky, maybe its toasted? A little astringent.
This was probably my least favorite of the samples

This one is an enigma, I can’t decide if I like it or not! It has become very hard to get, I’ll probably only get buy at retail if it comes around again in my area. I do feel like I’m gravitating towards wheated bourbons though.

I think the 12 is their sweet spot of the 100 proof offerings. Perfect amount of oak imo. I haven’t had the 18 yet, but I thought the 15 was a huge step backwards from the 12.
Their single barrel picks are still my favorites though.
So, of course, my whiskey fairy has to release one of her special pics that she's been waiting for for months while I'm roaming in Canada.
