Hey! I have one of thoseView attachment 1122665
In the immortal words of Pat Summerall, "there's a man down." He was a good man, but it's time for the next man up. I have backups.
I had one of these that tasted exactly like Cocoa Puffs and it was incredible. Most unique bottle I think I’ve ever had.Such a strange bottle.

This is the only bottle of whiskey I have that is distinctly red.I had one of these that tasted exactly like Cocoa Puffs and it was incredible. Most unique bottle I think I’ve ever had.

straight bourbon is supposed to be the only thing you can add is water. Are there any permitted additives for making bourbon? Tequila has four categories of additives, and it's a pretty big deal to some to only drink additive-free tequila. I'm just wondering if bourbon has anything similar going on.
Small batch is fairly common but still really good. The rye is more rare and also deliciousJust learned that my local store is getting a few bottles of EH Taylor small batch and EH Taylor straight rye. I’ve never had either … any advice between the two?
If you like rye at all, get the rye. I love it!Just learned that my local store is getting a few bottles of EH Taylor small batch and EH Taylor straight rye. I’ve never had either … any advice between the two?
Thanks Scott. I haven’t tried a ton of rye, but I really like the Alberta and Willett bottles I have.If you like rye at all, get the rye. I love it!
Yeah, if they let you get more than one I’d love someThanks Scott. I haven’t tried a ton of rye, but I really like the Alberta and Willett bottles I have.
Those prices are rough. Half price is where they should be.Dinner last night, after arriving in DC. Decent assortment, many outrageous prices (e.g., Elmer T. Lee at $89), no Van Winkles at all, straight 1 oz pours, absurdly weak on Scotch -- but I guess that's why they spell it their name with an "e".
I enjoyed the Ardbeg 10, because it's one of the few whiskies I don't have to share with my wife. She says Ardbeg's flavor reminds her of library paste (whatever that tastes like???). The Jefferson's Small Batch was much more to her liking.
Wednesday looks like a much better day to return...half price all day.

Woah! There are much cheaper spots in DC. Present Company Public House had Blantons for $15. Bardstown Disco for $20. And SUPER generous pours, not that 1oz stuff.Dinner last night, after arriving in DC. Decent assortment, many outrageous prices (e.g., Elmer T.
