We love cruising! which line sounds like NCL?
Yup! I like their "freestyle". First time picking up the beverage package. They removed some bubbly options from the list very recently which is going to upset some of the rest of the family. Maybe its time to introduce them to finer things

For bourbon: EH Taylor, Blanton’s and Old Forester 1920. Whistle Pig ryes are usually pretty good as well.

For scotch: it really depends on your palate. There are some good choices.

I’d avoid the Irish and flavored crap.
TY. It's been a while since I had any whiskey. Is there anything with a similar flavor profile to Nikka Coffey Grain/Malt?

B. Why is Screwball Peanut on the right??? Like licking a jar of Skippy.
Hmm, peanut butter IS my preferred breakfast

Don’t do it! :ROFLMAO:

Maybe great in mixed drinks, but alone, after a sip, I was over it. Left it at the I house I was visiting. :ninja:
try a PB&J shot, a shot screw ball from the freezer with a 1/2 to 3/4 shot of cranberry juice to follow. Actually not bad

skrewball + chambord = pb&j
skrewball + godiva liquor = reeces peanut butter cup

skrewball by itself = vile

It's so sweet the screw top bottle gets coated in dried sugar and it's hard to open.

JW Blue is fine if it's 'free' or included in whatever package.

I'd probably go to the bar and ask for a flight of half of the scotch, try them each, then later do it again with the other half. You might find one you like more than you thought.

Heading on a vacation with a drink package. These are the listed whiskeys available, any recommendations on top 3 or so to stick to?

The Enigma is outstanding -- also a $600+ bottle. I'd stick to that from the package!

Hennessey XO is top-drawer, but way more common than the Quest/Enigma line.

Personally, I'd also want to taste that Galvestion Spanish Single Malt, simply because I've never come across it before.

No Armagnac or Calvados, booo!

But if it is NCL, good luck with them actually having everything on the list. We killed the only bottle of the Enigma on Norwegian Dawn in January... :cool

Enjoy the cruise!

Good to see you still have the Black Sands set!

I was flipping through my Black Sands image directory the other day, saw a few of yours, and wondered...
Yep I still have them, it's been a bit since they've seen the felt as I've picked up some other new cash sets, but I still really like this design and it's not going anywhere :)

Yeah, I still have mine as well. My all-time favorite hourglass set...

Life just sucks sometimes. I’m starting the evening off with a margarita with dinner, but I have a few bottles that might not see tomorrow myself. Sorry to hear about your friends.

it's about $300 a bottle. If you are seeing it at $600 its cause it's travel exclusive so those are secondary. Quest is $80. The other two are between 120-240.

The whole quest line is some really amazing packaging/marketing by Macallan. I'm sure a bunch of other single malt distillers would love to ship a $300 NAS bottle.

Don't get me wrong, I'd totally try one if I had that package and I'd be sure to get my money's worth, but wow.

I really like EC18. I would never pay for it, but I like it. I feel the same way about Don Julio 1942.

I’ve never had EC18 before and I also have never seen one at any of the ABC stores that I frequent.

I might end up feeling the same way about it as you do, but I felt like I couldn’t pass up this bottle at $25 less than retail especially since I was up a couple of bucks at my game :cool
