EHT has a classic KY rye flavor. Really nice, but not worth hunting. Pikesville would be a good substitute.
Prideful Goat is a tad hot, but tastes interesting. I get a licorice note, which I dig. Next order from BO will include this bottle.
OF SBBP is tasty and hot, but not as hot as the Prideful Goat. Less flavorful than I expected. Hoped for more because I love the OF 100 Rye.
Obtanium is so drinkable for a hazmat! Nice finish. Typical Canadian rye flavors.

Semi-local rye. I hated the first pour so it's been a couple months open. More interesting now and softer. First pour was flavorless ethanol. Now it's opened up and I get rye on the front with an almost licorice like finish. Really interesting. Not a Sagamore or Willet but very drinkable suddenly. Happy Fryeday!

My Fryeday has turned into mint or other herbal tea. I’m not going to bother starting a thread on herbal tea.Except Fryeday.
Saturday is my only bourbon or rye day so I switch on/off each week or so.
I do Sunday Scotch as well! One of my two days of whiskey per week!

Pickups from the Father’s Day sale this morning
Went to a BBQ for the community orchestra my wife plays in. The host is a scotch guy, so we connected right away and had a few pours of dalmore 15. We live 5 minutes away so I grabbed the highland park cask strength to share. Such a damn good pour.

Just opened. This is really solid! Lux Row is doing good. I love the Old Ezra 7 yr. This isn't that but it ain't far behind.
Anyone do a scotch or whiskey highball/scotch and soda? I've been drinking these a lot as the weather has gotten warmer. So far my favorite combination is topo chico and glenfidich 15 solera. Maybe a lime wedge if I'm feeling frisky.

I don't drink a lot of Scotch. I also don't drink a lot of whiskey cocktails. I like to taste the juice! When I drink a cocktail it is a KY Mule or Old fashioned just to drink up whiskey I don't like. Probably should experiment more.
