Another bottle, I’m still liking it

Back at it in Austin. It’s hot as hades outside, so of course, I’m inside one of my favorite watering holes killing the Thomas H Handy.

I mean, it’s almost my own bottle seeing as I’ve had 3/4 of it. :cool

I do have a major problem, though. What the hell do I order next?!?

See if they pull another bottle out for you like last time  :ROFLMAO:

Dude. I love that bar
Me too. Last time they were pouring Willett purple top for an insane price too.

I mean, it would be rude not to, right? Already on my second pour and I haven’t even ordered my burger yet.

And the EHT BP is in good company. Yes, those other two are the EHT Straight Rye and EHT Single Barrel.

Good times!

I can’t go too hard tonight, though. I have a big meeting tomorrow. So I think 3 pours likely will be it. I mean, besides the THH I had earlier.

But tomorrow night….

Can anyone confirm that the 700ml barrel strength Blanton's horsey cork is the exact same size as the regular Blanton's horsey cork? Talking size of the horse/rider AND the cork itself. Never thought I'd ask that question in my life, but there ya go!

They're well thought of, they're $40, $50, and $70 (I think). That's in my wheelhouse of buy before you try. I don't know which day this week will be RYE day, but it will be sooner rather than later. We got a new puppy on Thursday (3 month old Golden Retriever) and I've not had much time for drinking or anything else since. (New dog on the right, duh)

I believe that they are the same. I swapped the horsey corks on these two bottles and they seem to fit the same… but I don’t have a micrometer at home.

Also…this is very good.

The other horsey corks were asking, not me. They didn't want an outsider! The beautiful thing is, the barrel strength Blanton's is the "S" which will complete the collection.

In San Diego for my Father's military service. First pour is Woodford Reserve Historic Barrel Entry. Ok view of the marina. Cheers
