That would be illegal for me to order liquor online and have it shipped to NC. ABC Store monopoly sucks.
Virginia is state controlled too but they still shipped here. They wouldn’t ship to you if it’s illegal.

It shouldn’t be. Nevada distilling wouldn’t have their bottles available to your state if it were illegal. They wouldn’t jeopardize that. I know they use to deliver to VA since I’ve ordered before but now they don’t, meaning they can’t anymore. If NC isn’t on the list, it should be fine.
I can't speak for the company that ships it, but if you read the article including the link it is illegal for me to order it. That hasn't stopped Bob's Discount Liquors from Shipping before either. I have a buddy in Georgia that wants to ship me a special bottle, but he knows it's illegal for him to ship. He owns a piece of a brewery so he's not going to take the chance to mess up his career.

I've had different retailers ship to me one week, not the next and then ship to me the week after. And VA laws aren't changing, the laws they are in aren't changing, just what moon cycle it is probably.
Never once lost a bottle, had a bottle returned, had a message from the tax man.

I'm not a scotch guy, but I do like the Orchard House.

Orchard house is my go to for someone who had one scotch once, didn't like it and thinks all scotch tastes 'like that'.
Agreed. In my fairly recent whisky journey, this was the first scotch I ever bought, based on recommendations I received here. It's a very fruity, tasty whisky, and I really like it. Been thinking it's time to start looking for another bottle. The big Houston retailer, Spec's, doesn't carry it for some reason. At least not at my local location.
I think their distribution is limited given they aren't actually remy martin or diageo. ;-p

I’ve been looking for these for a bit. Not sure how these Bowman’s are different than the other single barrels… but these say “limited edition.”
