I had to take a break from poker and PCF for a while to deal with family/medical garbage. Finally getting some time back, and was able to host a home game. I forgot to take pics before the game tonight of the lineup, but here it is ...

The ceremonial bottle was Frank August, which was recommended to me by my whiskey fairy who gets me all my good stuff. I got to say, it's certainly unique and definitely one that I would want in my bar again.

The Glenturret was a gift from one of the players, and I got to say, for someone who doesn't like Scotch very much, this one was freaking awesome!

Welcome back. Hope all the stress is behind you.

Appreciate it! It's the first time I really had to step away from PCF and prioritize family and me. It was strange not having my daily dose of chips and interactions. But hopefully it is all behind me now and I can look forward to a summer of chips and 3D prints!

From a random grocery store in Tuscany.

(Interesting note: duty free price for the JD was €25.20)

Almost done, but I need a 19.5 inch piece of pipe to complete the middle shelf as it’s not the same height as the rest of the shelves.

I’m glad to bring the Irish shelf down 5 inches as it makes it much more reachable and a top shelf for obscure bruichladdich products gives me more space on the bruichladdich shelf.

In another life, my wife says that I was going to be a packaging science major. The amount of bottles that I was able to fit into my bar was astounding. But over time, the collection kept growing and I just couldn't create space when there wasn't any.

So, matching my chip cabinets, IKEA came to the rescue! This is the overflow Bourbon cabinet, which is not to be confused with the regular bourbon cabinet!

Shouldn’t the Makers mistletoe be on a makers bottle???

The grey seagrass is amazing...as is the gold seagrass.

but i'm not sure about the grey bourbon

All I really want are AMAZING bottles. Unfortunately, they only make up 5% of my collection. I gotta try harder!
