Did a little hunting for some ECBP C923, swing and a miss. Fucking vultures have already gobbled them all up, I may be SOL on this one - first batch I've seen nowhere since the pandemic, crazy Usually there's at least one store that has them for inflated prices. Nada so far, everyone has said they've come and gone instantly.

Buuuut being a total bottle whore, I didn't come home empty handed

I’m seeing similar shortages. It’s good, but not THAT good. I’ve gotten some, but not as many as I could acquire of previous batches.

Bardstown Origin Rye
My first glass last night was not impressive.

Then I was cooking some pasta for dinner and had a second glass today. Wow. Night and day difference. It’s very good Rye. If you want tasting/aroma notes from me, I could use words like fruit-forward and oaky on the finish but they would just be made up bullshit lol. If you have not tried any, you should.

:oops: Last year’s GTS is the most I’ve ever spent on a bottle. And B520 is my favorite ECBP. But this is WOW.

 
Since I’ve basically stopped buying bourbon and have turned back to Japanese whisky can I get some likes from the Japanese whisky people and if enough of us we can start a separate thread
