They make a hell of an Old Fashioned. Is the 77/78 yr worth it? Or should I just stick with value play of the 50yr?

At that point it might be cheaper to throw a barrel in a blender with some water and everclear. Is the 77/78 yr worth it? Or should I just stick with value play of the 50yr?

2. I had a bottle of Batch 1, but sold it to a coworker who loves all things Jack.Batch 1 or 2...I've shared batch 1 with @Irish. Haven't had batch 2.
Not a big whiskey drinker but when I do Eagle Rare is my go.As of right now my rankings of top three would be
1. Noah's Mill- Can't get it on the shelf in Kansas for some damn reason....Found a bottle in Sonoma valley while on wine tastings and had it shipped back with a case of wine. This is unbelievable
2. Blanton's - this was what got me started searching for great bourbon
3. Angel's Envy - Very close third here.....on any given day I could probably bump this to the number 2 spot depending on my mood.
A few notable's not in any order
Johnny Drum
Basil Haydens
Woodford reserve
Eagle Rare
There are many more but these are what come to mind
I have an unopened bottle of jefferson's reserve that my brother gave me..... I'll have to get back to you on that
$25 each on clearance I’m sure.
Ashamed to say I paid over retail. But not by much.$25 each on clearance I’m sure.
This particular batch is fantasticI like Booker’s in Autumn and Winter. And I’ve got a bunch of them and Little Books saved up. Might as well open some.
