At least a couple moreI’m really enjoying this years MWND. Much fruitier than last year. My local store got 3 cases delivered by mistake. Wondering if I should buy a case.
I have a friend that will take as many bottles as humanly possible.I’m really enjoying this years MWND. Much fruitier than last year. My local store got 3 cases delivered by mistake. Wondering if I should buy a case.
Might have to make a sub thread to discuss. I believe mine shows up tomorrow or the next day.
I like whisky advocate. Their facebook content is pretty good. The 2020 countdown has begun:

It was a lot more interesting for some of us when the title was "Malt Advocate", run by founder John Hansell (also founder of WhiskeyFest). As you can infer from the title, it was much more focused on Scotch and Irish whiskies, with a few articles on beer.I like whisky advocate. Their facebook content is pretty good.
@SaoliverDo any of you bourbon devotees keep an infinity bottle?
If so, do you keep a list of what's gone into it?
Never heard of them until my brother mentioned the concept. So I’ve only just started one. Added the last fingers or so of EH Taylor small batch and Woodford double oaked.Do any of you bourbon devotees keep an infinity bottle?

I'm curious...does the skunky whiskey bring down the good whiskey, does the good whiskey elevate the skunky whiskey, or does an infinity bottle simply produce a median whiskey of the qualities that have gone into it?Do any of you bourbon devotees keep an infinity bottle?

I emptied an Elijah Craig 1750ml and began the infinity bottle. 2oz neck pours from every bottle I open. It is fantastic right now! So much so, that I want to pour 750ml into another bottle to preserve it. I’ve drunk a bunch along the way, so I have no idea how much of each remains in the bottle.Do any of you bourbon devotees keep an infinity bottle?

Buffalo Trace, Knob Creek and the like are the cheapest bourbons that I have bought. My bottle currently is smooth and sweet, with some spice and bite on the finish. I think it is better than my Blanton’s!I'm curious...does the skunky whiskey bring down the good whiskey, does the good whiskey elevate the skunky whiskey, or does an infinity bottle simply produce a median whiskey of the qualities that have gone into it?
My guess is median whiskey. Also, not sure what the practice is for when to drink from it: drink from it whenever you want or if people wait until the bottle is filled completely.I'm curious...does the skunky whiskey bring down the good whiskey, does the good whiskey elevate the skunky whiskey, or does an infinity bottle simply produce a median whiskey of the qualities that have gone into it?
I first tried it after 10 bourbons. Then again after 20. And now, whenever I feel like it. But it’s really good now, so I need to pour off a bunch to preserve this blend. My guess is median whiskey.
