I will ask for a version without the skyline. It may be too cluttered with the skyline.

Yes, I have the PRO version but I am going to upgrade to the GOLD version this week I think. It is nice to be able to remove the branding.

I think that if I moved off of the Lite version, my soul would die b/c that means that I've come to the realization this might not be such a temporary solution. If I keep my Lite version, I can still have hopes that my normal game will resume before summer hits...

Here is mine!

What do you think of this style @BearMetal?

I'm not a graphic designer by any means ... so don't let me opinion dissuade you from what you like. With that said, I think I like the shape of the table better, but it comes too close to the edges of the visible play around. So maybe it's a tag too big? I think this is a more beneficial design, however, but it could let you increase the font size without making the table graphic feel overcrowded.

Okay I had it resized.

Oh yeah, I think that looks much better. I like the crisp lines of the table edge compared to your first image. I think that both logos look good, but the -IRISH GUYS- banner looks quite nice on the larger oval.

Thanks. I agree I think the 'banner' looks better. I will use both tables in my poker room on different tables and let my friends and family also send in some feedback. But I am excited to get on the table and try them out.

Ah, I see a small charge there due to the Elastic IP address setup ($0.005/hr its up). I had done that because I misread the 750 free hours as annual instead of monthly! Whoops, so I guess I can take off the IP setup and just leave the machine running...
My take on the elastic IP is that you aren't charged if the IP is assigned to an active instance. I assume charging when the IP is unassigned is to prevent a bunch of unused IPs being assigned (plus they theoretically make $$ from the instance.

From Amazon:

You can have one Elastic IP (EIP) address associated with a running instance at no charge. If you associate additional EIPs with that instance, you will be charged for each additional EIP associated with that instance per hour on a pro rata basis. Additional EIPs are only available in Amazon VPC.

To ensure efficient use of Elastic IP addresses, we impose a small hourly charge when these IP addresses are not associated with a running instance or when they are associated with a stopped instance or unattached network interface. There is no charge for Elastic IP addresses you create from an IP address prefix you brought into AWS using Bring Your Own IP.

Thanks, looks like I had that backwards. Will just keep it up and running!

I got some custom decks made as well. They are kind of hard to see but one is gray one is gold to match my table theme and one is a Chicago themed card. I also got them created in the four-color decks as well. I have five more different decks being created right now and I will share them I get them sent to me.

Someone did
I told my players I'd carry a certain amount for them, but would cash out their excess if their roll started growing beyond what I was comfortable carrying and that's been working so far. Haven't had to hit a wall like that yet, either way thank goodness.

Two fun stories from all this "going to the cloud" -

Saturday night I logged off about 2 am and had to make a significant cash out for a player who was playing at two tables (when I logged off, it closed down the "big boy" table and left the small table with just 3 players). He was up a little over the amount I told him I was comfortable carrying, just on the small table alone, so we agreed I'd cash him out his full balance from the big table and he could just roll a balance of what he had on the table (which was over 1000 BBs). I check the next morning and he has a zero balance. OH S%$@ the accounting is screwed up somehow I think. Nope. He donked off over 1000 BBs in about fifteen minutes playing three handed PLO. Wtf.

We have a voice chat going along with Mavens - using Discord. During a tourney we start hearing female grunting/moaning in the background. Eventually someone asks, "is someone watching porn?" The response, "Uh...no...that's my teenage daughter working out...I'm In my rec room." And then we hear "What did they ask about me dad?" I couldnt believe it...he paused for a minute and then just told her. "EWWWWWW DISGUSTING! SO GROSS. THANKS DAD! GROSS, GUYS. GROSS."

That was my goal today - cash everyone down to $600 - looks like that will take more then a week to accomplish.

What are the limits for Venmo and Paypal F+F?
Is there like a monthly or yearly limit? Trying to see if I need to switch instant transfer providers....

Another question: on Mavens, what is the best way to track buy-ins? Does anyone have a good way to comb the logs and export the data? Would love to be able to track things without spending an hour or so in the early morning making a spreadsheet.

Good question. I'm wondering about my approach for an upcoming first game:
1. Collect money
2. Assign balance
3. Game ends, everyone leaves table
4. Distribute money based on balances
5. Zero out balances.

Some people may have to wait a few hours for their money.

Some more mavens questions:
1. Ability to show one card?
2. Ability to randomly assign ring game seats?

That's exactly how I'm handling my weekly cash game, but I think it is going to grow to 2 tables, and was wondering if there was a good way to check my math at the end of the night. If I make a mistake on a reload in the middle of the night, there is no good way to find it...

If you trust the players, let them go negative. The balances in PM at the end of the night is what you request/pay.

I do trust the players...but I don't do gambling loans. I want to remain friends with these guys. I'd hate to have an issue with them. Don't wanna tempt fate.

Yeah I get that. For me, they're all close friends and I know where they live in-town. Case in point though: one of them had 2 $20 buy-ins to the tourny and 7 $20 buy-ins to the cash game. (I know, he's horrible). But he ends up sucking out enough on his last $20 that he's positive $7 on the night. So I either end up having to request 9 times and then just send it all back to him, or I let him go negative b/c I know he'll pay me if he owes.
