Does anyone know what the exact colors are of the Paris $1 & $5. Couldn't find verified or satisfying information on that.

The $1 seem like day blue or dolphin and the $5 chip is the normal red with mustard and a kind of blue maybe?

Thanks a lot :)

Thought I just recently had seen that the $1s are Dolphin blue... They're definitely not Day.... IDK what the $5s are

Any idea on how harvesting Paris chips will go during WSOP this year?

Just want to present my small Paris Set :)

Thanks to @CUORE3 & @Bigbluff81 ;)

The Aztars work perfectly and the green color looks gorgeous in real life (the picture is really bad though).

Since we don't play 25/50ct Blinds the plan was to use the $1s as 10ct, $5s as 50ct and $25s as 2,50€ with Buy Ins of 10,00€.

So this should work fine as a start. And no need of murdering anything. They just look great...

And just for the fun of it I played a little and I finally get why people here prefer to have full racks. It just looks better. Even if you don't need that many

Reviving this as I'm torn and need the voice of reasoning.

Looking to add a $20 chip to my Paris. Originally had planned to use the Sterling Cruise $25, but just didn't love them and the condition / barrel height variance bothered my OCD.

Normally, I'd lean for a yellow $20, but I have mustard fracs so thinking a black $20 now.

Pretty torn between AS $100 IHC or Sterling $100 in mint condition. Both about the same price. Anything else I should consider / opinions? Not planning to add a $100 down the road so keep options for that isn't a concern.

AS $100 (3).jpg

White could also work.

I like the AS more than the IHC for sure. Especially the pink spot pops. Otherwise the dolphin blue gets repeated.

But regarding your overall lineup, I would go for white for sure. The RPC $100 are 43mm, right? Regarding that you don't want to go further for a $100 it's nice to make the $20 a big chip. On the other hand I don't know if its spots match well..

Or you get rid off your mustard fracs (Isn't the $5 Paris Spot also Mustard or is it beige?) and go for pink (normal) or peach solids. After playing with my limited samples I own, they make the most sense for me. And then add a yellow (normal, not the canary one), like the RPC $20 as Paris $20 :)

And even further some Tiger Blaze Orange Bear Claws, like 5 or so, as Paris $50 big chip :D

Yeah, I don't mind the idea of an oversized $20. The RPC is pretty close, but the spot colors don't quite do it for me. I think the AS $100 is my leading contender currently.

I did consider a pink frac, but options are pretty limited and the good ones aren't cheap. The mustard matches the $5 spot and I think they work really well over all. The AS snappers were tempting, but was trying to stick to tighter budget for this set.

Not expecting the $20 to make it into our games often, but just want to cover my bases just in case.

Hey everyone,

while looking for CDI 98s in the forum I noticed that there are different types of Chips: LCV and SCV.

By grabbing two random $1s from my Paris Set I noticed that the one Chip also has the LCV. Even more weird that it is only on one side. The other side is SCV as most of my original Casino chips.

Does anyone know what that's about?

right one seems to be LCV

Backside is SCV

This has happened on a number of THC chips...SCV on one side, and LCV on the other. I guess they didn't really differentiate which cups they loaded into the press when manufacturing.

This is beautiful!
I am completely new to chipping and have been snooping around to build my first set. If I wanted to build something like this, how would I go about it?
