From what I’ve seen on HCL and some other highlights his game seems to be

1) I’m rich and own casinos
2) I play any 2 cards
3) I call down with anything
4) I hit the nuts and get paid

See videos of hand against Jungle on HCL and AK hand vs Robl flopping a boat.
I dunno, he seems better than season 1 Krish.

I watched one stream of him playing PLO on HCL. Never again. Actually, I have very little to learn from anybody on there with PLO.

Krish binks a 2 outer on HSP vs Kenney’s flopped trips.

Santosh binks a 3 outer followed by a 2 outer vs Robl’s flopped boat.

I’ll definitely give the guy credit for playing in a such a way that no one can put him on a hand but several of his -EV calls have been bailed out by miraculous run outs.

What do you mean? I learned that with enough passive income- THATS ME- you can play 100k PLO hands like the chips were- THATS ALSO ME- custom Tina ceramics.

Shout out to Ian Chan, you don't see a lot of heads up for a bracelet Pr0n. He ended up finishing second in the 2.5K Mixed Lowball Triple Draw.

Anybody know what Dwan and Keating were up to? I was watching a stream of the players championship either last night or the night before, and the camera zoomed in on a table with Keating and Dwan. The commentator guy said they were playing in a private sit n go, but I figured that was a joke? Not sure why nosebleed cash players would ask Paris or WSOP to run a private tournament for them, but what do I know, maybe that happens?

I didn’t see it but I think at that level you play whatever the fish wants to play

I guess my question is this. Not having been there, I don’t know.
But everywhere I’ve been, cash games and tournament games are separate. And sometimes there are multiple tournaments happening at the same time in the tournament area, but cash games don’t happen there.
So if Dwan and Keating weren’t playing in an official WSOP event, what were they playing, in the tournament area of the WSOP?

It appeared to be a game hosted by the WSOP for Neymar and his group of sports celebrities and high stakes poker players. They just played Hustler a few days ago (the famous hand that was posted here) and many of those people from that game came to Vegas. They seemed to be playing a sit and go of some kind as you could see that official WSOP tournament chips were being used so I don't think it was a joke.

What I can't figure out? To what end. The WSOP didn't promote it, and wasn't streamed that I could tell, and there was a near empty rail. I get doing it to promote the WSOP as Neymar is like one of the biggest names on the planet but they didn't really do much to promote it?

The high stakes cash room “kings lounge” is right in the middle of the Paris tournament ball room

I didn’t see the clip but the high end chairs are the easiest giveaway, if you see those, then thats where that is

The main room at Paris is a giant rectangle. The top left quadrant is cash games. The top center next to cash area is the “Kings Room” with fancy tables and what not. The top right is where a lot of day twos are, especially the mixed game stuff that Negranu puts in his clogs.

The rest of the room (70%ish of square footage) is for whatever tournaments are running.

Bleznick busted yesterday near the bubble in the 50K Player's Championship and thought "Hey, silver lining. I could go into the booth tomorrow and shit all over Chris Brewer in the commentary."

And he’s in the booth live now

That's not so much pokergo. Blame the WSOP for starting final tables as late as they do.

I'm mostly nocturnal and on west coast time, but seeing a FT end at 1:00 eats up a lot of time if I'm "watching".
I dream is a wish your heart makes!

They had scheduled today’s final table of the PPC for 8:00PM eastern, but they’ve moved it back to 6:00. And Negreanu is 2nd in chips. This is exciting! Could old man kid poker get his first bracelet in 10 years, in the event he wants to win the most? Let’s goooooooo!

Should we rank the games by watchability

1) Stud-8
2) Triple draw 2-7
3) PLO
4) Stud high
5) NL 2-7
6) NLHE (better game than #6, but are we a little burned out)
7) O8
8) the 2 min introduction
9) the breaks
10) limit hold em
11) the back of one’s own eyelids
12) razz

The draw games can be frustrating to watch with the graphics because a lot of these players don’t scan their last card - they hold it to the side and wait and squeeze it for that annoying sweat that these mixed guys do. And because of camera angles, you often never see those final cards at all.

Here, the pot has been awarded, chips are being stacked, and we don’t know either of the last two cards. (And they got 7th street cards - 90% sure it actually went to showdown and that “fold” next to brewer is an error.)

they were playing at one of the feature tables. There is the main table in the "thunderdome" with audience seating and all the cameras. Then there are two tables on either side of that one. And towards the front of the ballroom there are a couple other feature tables set up with cameras. Dwan and Keating were at the front of the ballroom. I was actually sitting at that table talking with another dealer before anyone showed up and the bravo clock said something like "Neymar" sit n go. If I had know who was playing, I might a stuck around for a while. haha.

And yes, tournaments EVERYWHERE. cash is in one corner. the other day we had the super seniors and a 3k NLH side by side. They broke my seniors table and told me to stay right where I was. And within about 20 minutes I was dealing the 3k to 9 different players at the same table. there is usually some separation between tournies. But when it gets busy, everything is full in the early rounds.

You didn’t enjoy the “Ivey is so good at stud nobody really knows it but he’s like the best in the world. …oh ummm I don’t think I like that’s the right play there”? And then the reprisal in case someone was fortunate to miss it? Or the “Brewer is only good at hold em” shade every time the game is limit? Didn’t seem to be torching it from what I saw.

I confess I probably give him a run for his money for the annoying factor. But I’m not on the WSOP PPC.

Bleznick was cool for about a half hour.

Which half hour? I actually despised him at first and thought he was a lot better towards the end. The dude clearly has his friendships and vendettas and can't separate them and was just declaring every Becker and Brewer play as terrible. It felt like the PokerGo staff talked to him at the break.

In his defense it was good content. I rarely watch the comments on PokerGo but I was watching them and laughing like an idiot on that stream. The amount of times he was wrong with his action predictions seemed purposeful. Also, I really want "Now this is interesting" to become a poker meme.

The best parts of the night where Tuchman just sick of his bullshit and playfully calling him out. Tuchman is still my favorite poker announcer of all time.

Brewer: Rakes in 5th pot in 7 hands.

Bleznick: "Brewer is actually weak at this game. Let me tell you why he played that hand poorly."

did anyone catch the PLO hand where
-negreanu flops trips three ways
- announces on the turn that he thought he was bluffing on flop, he misread his hand but way stronger than he thought
-announces several more times for good measure
-calls the turn
-boats up on river
-check folds river

???

Is there a 5th dimension of poker that we are not perceiving?

That was a head scratcher. He got a lot of credit for getting away from it on the river, but how he actually got there was weirdly ugly.
