By the way if anyone in Vegas needs some free racks:

Was hoping to see the 50k to the end but need to go to bed.

Looking forward to waking up tomorrow and learning whether Blom won it all or died of the black plague.

No shit. All the coughing was driving me nuts.

Unfortunately only made it a few levels day 2. I got knocked out by the eventual winner of the tourney.

Event #41 Holdem/PLO round by round w DBL BRD BMB POTS. It was ran surprisingly well and I expect it to be back and better next year.

NE Ohio represented well. 4 of us that I knew made it to day 2.

Viktor "Isildur1" Blom is not fucking around this year. He has four cashes so far. The four cashes:

And some random Pr0n.

Lammers they use to keep track of hands dealt of a certain type of poker in the mix games.

I’m headed back 7/7. There is a flip n go 7/8 which is intriguing.

It’s a 8-handed pineapple flip, winner goes onto what should be the softest day 2 in the series ITM.

Has anyone come across solutions for 8-handed pineapple flips? Like if the options are top pair vs gut shot, keep the gut shot I think but is this correct?
How about bottom two vs flush draw?

I dealt a few hands out and there were quite a few spots not confident in the correct play

Top pair rarely wins. Two pair is where I feel like I can bink. Any set straight or flush is money. Be aware of back door flushes and straights if the flop is completely dry for you.

Dealt a few, curious how you play (I dealt 8 hands but only included ones where it seemed like a spot)

Pokergo streams using cameras covered in cheesecloth and said sure let's jack up our monthly price this year and not do a WSOP yearly discount.
I’m pretty annoyed with pokergo’s coverage so far. I supposed I was spoiled by their content earlier in the year, streaming tournament series from their own studio. But most of their streams don’t start until like 10 PM Eastern time. You get a few at 8:00. But there just isn’t a lot of live content for east coast folks who maintain normal hours.

That's not so much pokergo. Blame the WSOP for starting final tables as late as they do.

I'm mostly nocturnal and on west coast time, but seeing a FT end at 1:00 eats up a lot of time if I'm "watching".

That’s a huge part of it. But the other huge part is that watching a final table is so much more compelling when you see what happened before that, which they haven’t done until this eeekend. Finally they showed us multiple days of the $250k and it was a great watch.
Seems like they’re continuing that by showing us day two of the $50k players championship, which is great. But again, coverage doesn’t start until 10 EST, which seems dumb since play resumed today at 1:00 local time.

To be blunt I think it is a mediocre streaming service with a near monopoly so they get away with. Outside of the announcing, I have pretty much nothing nice to say about PokerGo this year.

I am guessing the players started really complaining about the streaming starting an hour after and so they started pushing everything back for a longer delay. Some of the tournaments are ending before the streaming even starts. This is the real reason they have been going so late. As an East Coaster with a job, I can rarely finish any of the final tables.

Also on Pokernews this year they started doing updates from the streams instead of truly live. When you see an update on a final table, that actually happened a few hours earlier.

The players were probably complaining about stream reveals and the PokerGo subscribers were complaining about not know when the events were starting and they found a double fix in making it all scheduled and planned 2-4 hours delayed.

He’s been on high stakes pokers this year. Not sure that he’s a total donk; he seems to have some game.
Have not seen much improvement. But you're right, he's played with the best and has likely picked up a thing or two. But that's cash, this is a tournament vs some of the best in the world, thats wild.

From what I’ve seen on HCL and some other highlights his game seems to be

1) I’m rich and own casinos
2) I play any 2 cards
3) I call down with anything
4) I hit the nuts and get paid

See videos of hand against Jungle on HCL and AK hand vs Robl flopping a boat.
