Paulsons attract dirt (23 Viewers)

I fiddle with paulsons 24/7 and they really quickly accumulate bits of black/grey dirt
I have to toothbrush these little guys so often, almost every second day

I don’t think my hands are that dirty or anything. Maybe just some moisturiser residue but that’s about it

How to avoid this?

What are you shuffling them on? Mousepads/desk surfaces we use regularly get pretty damn gross.

Sometimes mouse pad yeah, but I spent the last week away from home so not even shuffling, just fiddling in the ol hands

You clean and oil them. And use them on a clean surface.

Also I’ve noticed the grey spots on the IG 500 attracts dirt like crazy but the blue not really

Also it probably doesn’t help that I like rubbing the chips together cos the texture is so nice.

Nope.

It's a combo of chip dust and skin/oils. Certain colors are softer than others and will accumulate the filth faster than other colors.
Strangely, the blobs of dirt always seem to appear where the main base color meets an edgespot. Doesn't matter the chip, all Paulsons seem to suffer from this phenomenon.
Wash with a mild soap and a soft brush.
