PCF Cigars (4 Viewers)

Here s what I got when I googled Cohiba ashtray. I don't know in the US, but here you can easily find one of those. Definitely on the pricey side of the world, but definitely worth it.

I own the one on the top right corner. Splendid.

Davidoff ashtray at my local shop was like $500
Slightly different version of this one without the branding. Looks like marble.

I have become quite frustrated trying to find a large round ceramic ashtray like you might find in a cigar lounge. I understand they mostly get these directly from brands as part of the sales relationship. I just can't seem to find something as large or as deep as I would like. I want four people to share an ashtray without having cigars remotely get near the ash as the night goes on. And I do not want one of the large stainless steel ones from Stinky. Any leads?
My local has these too. I have one circle and one square. The brand is Craftsman's Bench. But the tray itself is totally unbranded, heavy ceramic.

How does this work?

PS Edit - you'd probably want 2 of these. Mine will handle but fill up on 4 cigars and pipe ash.

Oh wow. Pricey... just visited a tobacco shop in switzerland and the amazing huge trinidad ashtray was 180usd...500 seems exagerrated

Yes because it is Davidoff, their product is high end. Their pipes typically start at $1,000 and cigars can be $100 a piece.

Although for an ashtray... yes, I'd say exaggerated lol. but what do i know.

Free with purchase at cigar events. I've got so many of these I will never pay for an ashtray.

Davidoff is overpriced shit. They are so pretentious and make you feel like you're buying something special and 90% of it sucks. One shop I couldn't even look at the cigars without an appointment. They can F*** right on off.

A guy I know through worked milled me a 2 person ash tray out of a block of aluminum. it's pretty legit. You can find similar on etsy.

Did you end up finding one? I just noticed that Fox has a nice large round Tatuaje ashtray

Season 19 finished, everyone left, I won like 5 or 6 pots and finished 5th so I figured I wanted to end on a high but the Picadores was packed tighter than a brick. And then it started to rain. But I have aquavit so I have that going for me.

Update on my ashtray search. I have found many options, including some of the good ones folks have mentioned here that all seem perfectly serviceable but I am just not feeling inspired. I figure I’ve invested in nice outdoor furniture, great cigars, high end cutters and lighters, I should have quality ashtrays and it’s worth taking the time to determine what that means.

So, while I continue to hunt for the right group ashtray, I’ve found what I think will be a wonderful ashtray for when I’m smoking alone, which is probably the case 8/10 times.

Haven’t put it into use yet but picked this guy up from an Etsy shop I found and I think it will be great. I like the aesthetic, our porch is up on the 2nd floor and sometimes quite windy and the curved bowl should help with that, and I think I should easily be able to have the ash of a large cigar in there without it getting near my lit cigar.

Here’s the shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ahauspottery

My current thought is to give this a try for a while and then maybe commission a larger one with several rests.

Fantastische! Gave this guy a spin yesterday with a lovely Plasencia (these aren’t my fave from them though) and I love it. Deep bowl could easily fit the ash from several cigars and the curve has kept all the ash in a day later.

I see this cigar thread, but I don't see the pipe thread. Where are my pipe enjoyers?

Newer to the hobby, I've got 2 Savinelli and 2 basket pipes.

Me and the boys, pic related

*Now enjoying some traditional in my Tre.

But i am also waiting for a cigar Delivery. The box should arrive tomorrow. Nothing special.
I bought 7 different lower price end cigars between €5 and €10 to test a little bit. If i enjoy it i'll take a step Up.

Something that drives me nuts is bands that are difficult to remove. Also, I absolutely hate anything on the tip of the cigar. I know it's there to protect the cigar, but it's always difficult to remove (most are taped). It does more damage than protection.

Completely agree that foot bands are ridiculous. Though I understand the reason some brands use the colored ribbon as a cheap way to differentiate varieties of a cigar without bothering with different main bands.

The long sleeves are the absolute worst though. Gimmicky and annoying. Cedar or paper.

Why does it have a large band, a secondary band, and a huge ass sleeve thing??
