Thanks. Trini Reyes pricing was always steep for the size, but now they are silly. But there’s so much sitting on shelves, who knows maybe they will come back.

While the tourney is still running tonight the KO'ed (Knocked Out Players) want to play low stakes until the cash table fills up. Well, time for smoke break.

These should pair well together.

For some reason I can’t reply to your classified post but @chrismurda may have some of those $25s your looking for

How would you rate that cognac? Quite the lineup you got there!
The pairing was truly exceptional! The Davidoff Cognac turned out to be a delightful surprise, especially given its price point. It’s impressively well-aged, with a complexity that’s unexpected yet thoroughly enjoyable. The cognac’s rich profile delivers layers of caramel and smooth vanilla, complemented by a touch of nutty undertone. It’s a flavor bomb that’s both luscious and indulgent. Although I am no expert.

Paired with the full-bodied Davidoff Colorado Claro cigar, it’s a sensory delight. The cigar’s robust, creamy texture—with its notes roasted coffee, nuts, spiced chocolate and deep flavor it combined well with the cognac’s rich sweetness. Together, they create a luxurious interplay: the cognac’s velvety caramel and vanilla flavors enhancing the cigar’s earthy spices and nutty finish. A pairing that’s both sophisticated and deeply satisfying.

Those are enough fancy words and that took too long to write.

It was good - very good, this weekend will pair the cognac with another Davidoff, maybe a Number 1 anniversarrio, Number 2, or maybe a couple of short perfecto's. Not sure, but have time to decide.

$30's a single sounds better than $125. Might have to give it a try next time I'm in Pasadena visiting my favorite spot there, Cigars by Chivas.

I subscribe to Small Batch’s $50/month club which usually seems to have an okay value and sometimes is a way to find interesting sticks. Always good ones. Here’s this month’s.

BTW there’s a coupon code at the bottom. I’m full up on sticks so figured someone should get use out of it if they want.

Settling in for another of these. Warmish weather has struck the northeast and I don’t know the next time I’ll be out here for a long stick so figured I’d take advantage. IIRC once upon a time there was a Germany exclusive version of these which is when I first got hooked on them and I’ve always loved the blend.

A friend brought me one of these the other night, nice clean smoke and the final third was really food.

Managed to resist having these for so long because always felt overpriced and overhyped for what is ostensibly a mild Connecticut stick (ooooooh secret blend ooooooh) and then I got a shorty in a SBC sampler and really really liked it. Got a larger format in a SBC monthly club too and gonna give it some rest and then I’m very much looking forward to it for a brunch cigar

Love me some good cigars !!! I only smoke Romeo’s best cigar . Nothing like a Friday night on the balcony with glass of scotch and nice cigar. I put my phone away and lock myself outside from the family lol

Got this Crowned Head in a sampler pack. Spicey off the top like Don Pepin used to be. Delicious.

Le Pâtissier which means 'the baker' in French, was a limited edition cigar but now Crowned Heads has moved the line to regular production with four new sizes. It’s said to be inspired by another Crowned Heads release, Le Careme, which uses a different blend and is made at a different factory.

Made at Tabacalera Pichardo in Nicaragua, with a U.S grown Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, long-filler from Costa Rica as well as the Ometepe and Pueblo Nuevo regions of Nicaragua, held together by a Nicaraguan binder.

Notes of spice, cream and bread. Medium.
