Very nice. I’ve only been on one cruise, forever ago, and I’m impressed by how similar your first photo looks to the arrival/dock in Ensenada, Mexico. Minus the massive Mexican flag, of course.

Also, is that a Perdomo sun-grown ESV in your hand?

I believe you’re correct! It was FANTASTIC. That and the Padron I had last night were the two best smokes of the trip. I’ll post a pic of my Graycliff smokes when we get home and settled.

Holy shit

The Casa Fuente....should be in your local shop by now, these were only available in Vegas and Miami

A little pricy but we'll worth it

Might be the best cigar I ever smoked, get them while you can

Simply, a Sun Grown cigar wrapper is made from leaves that grow directly exposed to the sun
Haha! Yes, sorry. That much I understand, and sorry for not being clear, but surely there’s a reasoning behind growing the leaves in the sun vs the shade. Flavor I’m assuming? Maybe it’s just simply different coloring?

Ah! And in the style of this forum (recommending things far above the price range asked for) are the Trinidad fundadores that i think anyone into Cubans should try
Hoping these go on special at some point on ihavanas.com. Not optimistic.

I tried a Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro Robusto last night. Flavor was pleasant, seemed a fairly mild maduro, but very quickly the wrapper started to crack and flake off. Draw was hard and didn’t have a very good or even burn. Really hampered my enjoyment. Guessing I just got the one lemon.

Very hard draw. Nearly unsmokeable. Very disappointed. I mean for nearly 10 bucks a stick I don’t know how I can take a chance on another RP. Do I need to buy one of those perfect draw things?
Just curious, what cut did you use? I use a V cut for most stuff and if it’s a hard draw the first thing I do is shift that V cutter 90 degrees and cut again to make an X cut. Has worked every time, so far, to enable a better/good draw.
