tommy - I'm not interested in this particular set, but I do have a question. Does this mean that BCC customs are available to be purchased by the general public? If so, how would one go about doing so?

GEMACO won't sell direct unless you have an ASI account. Alternatively you could go through one of their distributors. www.gemacocards.com

I've never used T5s before, but that Cranberry T5 just looks too good not to get a rack.

I am guessing the wait time is directly related to how many “Star Boat” chip orders are in the queue in front of us.

Do you think these chips are still made by hand or have they come up with a manufacturing process for these since the combinations are limited?

Updated Totals. Looks like the T500s will get to the next price break. Just 15 chips away!

If you have paid already or received the payment instructions based on the old price, you'll be credited for any price differences when it comes time to settle up for the shipping and setup costs. Thanks!

Any pics of sample chips? I’m trying to figure out how dark the 100 chips are. Look like a dark blue. They all look great but I’d love to see more pics.

I have been told in face-to-face conversations by two different industry people (leaving out names for their sake in case divulging the info could get them in hot water) that the Paulson factory actually has two lines of 128 individual press stations, each run by a human. A heated belt brings the assembled clay disk to one of the workers. They take it from the belt and put it in a small press. After the chip has been pressed, it is then placed on the cooling belt & taken off to be finished. Or something to that effect.

They didn't speak about the other portions of the process, nor did they indicate how they know, but given these folks positions and history in the chip making business, I'd wager it's closer to fact than fiction.
