There is much sexiness in this thread.

That's why I do it. I enjoy celebrating the past of clay casino chips. There are very few post-year-2000 chips in any of these threads. They simply don't make chips as beautiful as they used to. Not even close.

That’s possible… I’ve never found one. They would be the $20 in my LV Bally’s set if they were available in quantity.

Hopefully you find one of the “whale” Atlantic City chips at a bargain price and can add it. Like a Resorts, or a Boardwalk or Park Place!

Thanks! I really like the Resorts and have seen it come up a couple of times, but have never pulled the trigger.

I was lucky enough to be in Atlantic City when they pulled this (former) whale out of the vault and put it back on the tables!

I think this kind of thing is going to happen a lot more in the future. Stuff relabeled all over and nobody passes that info on. I’m not going to become a singles collector and have to peruse a magazine every time I want to buy a set of chips to make sure all the chips are original.
