You're right. It can get real confusing. Sellers should absolutely pass this info on when they sell or trade chips they have relabeled.I think this kind of thing is going to happen a lot more in the future. Stuff relabeled all over and nobody passes that info on. I’m not going to become a singles collector and have to peruse a magazine every time I want to buy a set of chips to make sure all the chips are original.
Something to definitely keep in mind when buying chips around here, that there are a lot of "fakes" (if i can call them that) introduced over the last couple of years. Both relabeled clay chips, and custom made ceramic chips that look just like the real deal to 99% of people. Buyer beware I guess
