Wanted RVCL (Royal Venture Cruise Line) $1s, $5s or a set (2 Viewers)

Just an educated guess, but here's what I think exists:

200 x 50c
700 x $1
1000 x $5
700 x $25
200 x $100
200 x $500
---------------
3000 primary chips

Plus at least four other racks: 2 x $25 (one inlay, one hot-stamped), 1 x $100, and 1 x $500. Could be more.....

Is that why it never opened? Because you can't run a casino with only 10 racks of $5's? You can't even run a damn meetup with only 1,000 $5's.

Who knows,but probably not many. There are a bunch more $1s and $5s in Kentucky, being used in some lady's charity cash game (I'm guessing at least 1000 chips or so). I was unable to get contact info from the guy who picked up the rest of the chips she had (1,400 total - 900 x $25, 300 x $100, 200 x $500) along with several pallets of gaming tables and other equipment. Most of mine are now reunited with their smaller-denom siblings at softchewy's place.

Ten racks of $5s is plenty for most small day cruise boat casinos. Typically no poker -- just a few blackjack tables, one or two craps tables, and a few other stupid table games (Caribbean Stud, etc.).

I suspect that's the total. Outside chance of some other hot-stamps, but I suspect they had just the one rack of $25s made for something very specific. Basically, 3000 total primary chips, one rack each of secondary $25/$100/$500, and the hot-stamped $25s. Besides the missing secondary $500s, I'd guess that pretty much all remaining chips that you don't already have are in Kentucky..... and no longer mint condition, either.

Are the RVCL $25's staying in both sets, or are you introducing a new $25 to the wet set??

Yeah curious to know the totals produced.
The ship could have held 800+ passengers (though odds are it wouldn't be fully booked). Planned trips were 5-day to Mexico and 2-day to nowhere.
I now have 180 of the secondary $25s (so at least 2 racks of those were produced) and I can account for close to 200 of the $.50s (including the 110 I have).. a single $.50 sold on eBay last month.
There are more than 2 racks of $100 primaries (2 racks I got from you and I got a single chip elsewhere).
I know of at least 11 racks of the $25 primaries (including my 4).
I suspect there are some additional secondary and primary chips.. the question is how many and where...
Wish there was a way to definitively determine primary vs secondary...

If you're trying to account for all he rvcl chips, I have 70 mint $25. Glad those fracs were able to join their family. And someone mentioned Kentucky earlier in this thread....just so happens that I picked these 70 $25's and 50 $0.50's while visiting my brothers in Louisville.
