According to my Paulson rep buddy, the $1s and snappers were supposed to be THC, that's why they had 7/8 in inlays. Someone at Paulson made a mistake.
Jim has a friend at Paulson Maybe our future is bright

$25,000, unknown color. $1000 chips are orange, $5000 chips are grey.Does anyone know for sure what the highest denom at Horsehsoe Southern IN was? $5000 or $25000? Do they use gold for $25K in IN like PA/NJ or navy blue like OH?
Well the Horseshoe Hammond should be sold by the end of this year as part of the same deal that caused the sale of this casino. So I would say that since Jim got these chips it would be very likely that we will see those chips sometimes next year. The Jack Cincinnati is now Hard Rock Cincinnati so we may be seeing those chips in the future as well.wonder how many casinos have closed for good in the last 6 months?
Could this be the golden age for chippers ?
Wish I lived near you Jim @TheChipRoom , I would gladly come and help you rack them up
I'm 5 hours away but every time I offer to help he brings up that dang restraining order.I’m considering flying in just to volunteer for this job
Secondarys arnt released, so we don't normally have an idea of what we're gonna get. Those are the assumed secondary mint ones...What am i missing? This picture:

Yeah you don't usually see that. But it looks like this casino's rack is quirky. That does make sense. I think the very different inlay is what threw me off.
I always feel bad for those guys at the end of rounders. I can't imagine this task.Wish I lived near you Jim @TheChipRoom , I would gladly come and help you rack them up
Hopefully it’s just primary $1s and snappers at the bottom of those barrels. Like clay bubble wrap.Imagine the chips at the bottom of those barrels.... that’s a lot of weight they’re supporting
It also means those chips had the farthest drop with the hardest impact. Poor chips.Imagine the chips at the bottom of those barrels.... that’s a lot of weight they’re supporting
Same with the HS Cleveland’s.i really don't get the rhc/thc mix, but thats definitely still possible. horseshoe baltimore has THC 1's but RHC everything else.
Apparently they've been making many mistakes the last few years. Most of the newer racks in Vegas have similar small inlays!According to my Paulson rep buddy, the $1s and snappers were supposed to be THC, that's why they had 7/8 in inlays. Someone at Paulson made a mistake.
Anyone want to see what an open barrel of chips looks like?
Gives new meaning to “compression clay”!
Will these be priced based on their barrel depth?!

I think it is more about being poured into the barrels and the bouncing/grinding against each other in the truck for many hours. Think of the chips we see that non chippers ship where the chips are dumped into a box and mailed. Hopefully it is a small % overall. But I’d expect a decent amount of flea bites on the secondary chips still.
I’m sure Jim will let us know if they ended up with flea bites from the packing/shipping process.
The ones that were thrown in on the very bottom will prolly be damaged. But anything above that will likely look just like these. Based on the numbers I’ve seen I would assume that the 5k’s and 25k’s were stored in the boxes. While everything else was just out in barrels. Either way there is going to be a lotttttttt of chips so I’d maybe expect like 5% to be damaged.
