Anybody besides me notice that there seem to be some new primaries? Pretty exciting as I love the primary 100’s 500’s and 1k’s.

I "think" in the sample set thread Jim said all of the primary 1k and 5k chips were used. If I recall correctly at least.

In the sample thread there are new primaries listed in the sample sets. Read closely.

a (potential) tale of 2 horseshoes...

I guess this is the first time I've taken a close look at the inlays. I'm just now realizing that the primary inlays are black while the secondary's are colored - weird how my brain works (or doesn't) sometimes. And it explains why I started thinking about a secondary tournament set yesterday. This is also the best execution of a faux shaped inlay I've ever seen. Because it's not like they're trying to fool anybody - they just threw the shapes on there subtly, and they look good.
I can't think of another casino where the inlays were so different on the primaries and the secondaries.
But the more I look at these secaondaries, the more I thik they hit it out of the park . Except for the snapper which brutally sucks, but I have no use for snappers anyway.
This is what these sales do - I'm such a no RHC guy, but now I want some.

The secondaries are some of the best RHCs I've seen yet, across the whole lineup ( with the exception of the brown $100). But the giant ADA vision impaired-legible white denominations on the mid denoms is rather strange and jarring, either go all white or all black, wtf.

I think the brown hundred is growing on me. It's abnormal sure, but I think it works in that lineup. Maybe I like it partly because the primary hundred just looks exactly like every other Chiproom Horseshoe hundred we've ever seen.

Why on earth would you pass up the best RHC $5 Jim's offered in the last 4 years? lol
i said potentially....but 1) i like the idea of keeping the 2 edge spot design on the lowest 3 chips 2) everyones going gaga over the RHC 5, if i had to guess those will go super fast. so just mentally preparing myself :)

Theories:

1.he already has the Cincinnati HS?

2.knows the secondary $5 will be the most sought after chip, so he is making a backup plan?

bingo. truth be told, building a .25/.50 set with the secondary set would look fantastic (and probably my preference), but who knows what the cost breakdown will be along with availability.

Not to mention the black text on the pretty much black inlay on the 5k and 25k. Lol at the inlays, but I agree some nice chips in there for sure!
