On dinner break at the WSOP Mini Main:

Very cool. I'm talking to ABC currently to make me a selection of chips for picking random circus games. Nothing extravagant. Just a common top side and then the game name on the other side.
I cannot recommend Gene and Kristil highly enough.

Over the years, I've bought off-the-shelf chips, customized coffee mugs, trophies, promotional poker chips for my employer, and (very recently) a set of semi-custom ceramics with an interesting story that I will be posting soon.

I've gotten nothing but stellar service and quality products every single time.

Finally got a seat at the Omaha table. Won a decent pot first hand. Three hands later was dealt AcKdJd2c. Flop was K64, 2 clubs. Got it all in against two players. Turn 3s, river 9c. Got 2/3.
Is that PLO-8? Otherwise I don't understand how you didn't scoop.

Spent last weekend in Slovenia & Austria

Saturday night I was playing blackjack last weekend @ Casino Mond, Slovenia/Austria border.
In for 250, out for 450 euro.

Blackjack with standard european rules (stand on all 17, no hole cards). This table had 6-deck shoe manually shuffled, 10 euro minimum.
Dealer's cut leaves only a deck ... good if you count cards :cool
A 5-euro table was open, with automatic shuffler... full of people. I hate automatic shuffler, 10-euro table so was a better choice.

On sunday morning, driving back in Italy, I stopped @ Perla in Nova Gorica, Slovenia/Italy border
Maybe the hour (2 PM), maybe the day (sunday), there was just few people and few tables open, with high minimum.
Perla it's one of biggest casinos in Europe but, IMHO, it's struggling since COVID.... each time I see less people playing, less tables open, higher minimum.
Planned to stay 2-3 hours, ended playing 20 euro double-deck blackjack for half an hour. Booked a small win (in for 300, out for 360 euro) and quickly went away.

Nice CIC chips here, too (sorry for bad light)

I'm just impressed by your black $92 chips.
I wish that game played for those kind of stakes. I might be able to retire a couple years early. :bigbucks:

It's a .25/.50 game with $25, $100, $500, and $1000 hotstamps that play for 1% of face value. They all have "92" on one side and the denom on the other.

Cool photos - kind of sad that every single poker table was empty though, I don't think I've ever witnessed that :(
