I want to click  , but those giant label, ugly dog, bicycle tires make me a little sad.
Is that like a requirement at every FL card room?
Yes.

The chips at Daytona Beach used to be very similar, but they were ceramics that were so old and worn that many were almost white before they finally replaced them with a new design.

The dog is because many Florida card rooms are attached to dog tracks, even though Florida outlawed greyhound racing about 3-4 years ago. The poker rooms are still there, but the dog tracks are all dormant. A few rooms (like my local room) don't have a track but instead have a parimutuel betting area with televised horse races.

The bicycle tire is because many rooms down here buy the cheapest chips they can get, then keep them in play way, WAY too long.

Florida is missing the boat. With that valuable real estate of the track, and the (nearly mandatory) bicycle wheel chips, they need to start hosting mountain bike races with legalized betting.

Couple nice runs at the 20/40 games at WSOP, plus some other cash games at Resorts World (8/16 mixed) and at Orleans (4/8 and 8/16 O8 and 1/2 NLHE).

What the hell are those abominations???? Haha
Why I’d all the chips the host could use did they pick these????????? They’re so goddamn ugly like worse than dice chips! I’d bring my chips the next time around so I could save everyone from those chips.
They are dice chips
Too light to be slugged feel straight plastic
image.jpg

I’m guessing custom China plastics  :ROFLMAO:
They are so used and dealer tip checked to hell the plastic is falling off

I saw some with missing labels
Anything could be better

Good chip security
New chips would look wrong
Haha
Have to send them through the blender first to match haha

Nice custom plastics maybe copag
Can’t stand the mega large font for PLO though
Tables are nice legit casino quality
They need at least some better quality plastics
Even cards mold stuff

That is truly just wacky! However looks like you had a good amount of them, so that’s certainly a big plus!!

Fun past two weeks. Have had the chance to play twice after a while. It felt good to finally sit down with friends and enjoy some company. Get to play with some new chips and just have a good time.

First set of pictures is from the meetup we had here in Vegas the weekend of the chip convention. Had about 24 people in a small tournament we set up and it was so much fun. Getting to see the people you've seen online finally in person and hang out with them was great. On top of that playing with Empress Star chips was an honor. I've seen the hype about them online and finally understand why so many love them. The colors, edge spots, inlays everything is great.

Then, this past week had another little get together with friends and finally got to put my Indiana Grand set into play. Everyone loved the chips, they were really surprised by how nice they were. Some of them didn't even know that it closed, some never even heard of the place before and some of these people are mega chip collectors. It was fun, I didn't get too many great hands so the majority of the time I sat there folding trying to stay alive. Then I switched card guards thinking I'd get some better luck, but that wasn't the case.

Wow, surely this is a new low for crap design. The next step will be little plastic shuriken with hologram stamp denoms.
