I think I got tilted by these chips...

I think I spend half the time wonder why there are 5 denomations in play for a 25c/50c game.

Ahaha what are the denominations even??
Idk this guy but I played in a .25/.50 game with .25/.5/1/2/5/25/100 for a whopping 7 denoms lmao. I recently got some chips that’s brought us down to 4- .25/1/5/25. 2250 in the bank before 25s and 5k in 25s has been plenty, but cut it close a few times with a full table

I’m always so curious when you need $2 denoms, would it just be if you’re short on $1 chips I guess? And similarly I guess you’d need $10 denoms if you’re short on $5 chips

The only reason I’ve seen that I agree with is $2 chips for simplicity in a 2/5 game (still annoying for tipping) and then I’ve seen $10 chips for $10/$20 games. Have $2 chips in smaller games feels like a crime and $10 chips have no place there either

This would be a very difficult game for me as well.

Every time I gained a $10 chip, I would throw it away - not across the room, but down a garbage disposal, into a sewer, into a vat of acid...

"Hey Zombie, did you just pull up in a steamroller towing a wood chipper?"

"Yep, planning on running hot tonight."

1/3 as well. Far from necessary but every few orbits I can just toss in $3 instead of a 5.

That’s makes a lot of sense. Is this a thing at most casinos/vegas? I’m trying to think of the last time I saw $2 chips live. Or just in home games usually

Most if not all casinos will have $2 chips in play for 1/2,1/3, and 2/5

I’ve only ever seen $2 or any odd denomination being used for drop/rake. Every place I’ve gone you get racks/barrels of $1, $5, $20/25, etc

This is interesting because I have never not seen $2 chips in play. I’ve played almost exclusively in Florida so that could be why

We have turned yesterday’s Resorts World winnings into an Aria buy-in. My other favorite room on the strip!

I like that crow lol nice capper

Appreciate that, here’s the backside.

For a very long time, up until recently when I needed work life balance because I have a kid now, I worked in my state’s legislature, and I worked on a bill for paramedics for several years. So I ended up with a lot of patches and challenge coins from medics doing that, and the plague doctor crow design is easily my favorite one I’ve ever gotten.

Foxwoods would use Jeff's in their 2/4 and 4/8 limit games. Not sure I remember seeing them in NL games.

Possibly the worst beat I’ve ever taken. Flopped a set of fours, lose to runner runner Royal flush on the last hand of the night, which was a $25 bomb pot (all in on the flop).

Whole table screamed. Except for me of course. Left speechless and down $350 for the night lol (I’m the stack in the background).

Everyone liked the Greek molds though. Very colorful and great feel.
