So it Begins... (5 Viewers)

I can very easily see these replacing current buttons regarding felt time. Seems funny that the buttons of old are so widely used, we lose sight of them in every home game.

Hey Ken, my apologies if this has been answered.
But would the 48mm Paulson Dealer Button be made available for the additional rack/ limit set sale, available on their own, or were they only going to be available for the sample sets? Thank you very much :cool
good question... didn't think about this, TBH... sure... I hope I remember to add it to the sales...

me 2... I haven't seen these in person, but if they are the 'heavy' type, they will definitely replace all the dealer buttons in our games

Jim tries to keep the numbers down so he isn't "Stuck" with chips he cant sell....
This doesn’t make any sense.
And once again, the claim is that every sale of tiger chips is "Sold Out" Lottery draw for chips, well except for his friends. so why keep the numbers a secret??
The chips are in demand. If the NAGB were sold the same way instead of ordered by individuals and with the intent to sell them then you’d like see equivalent prices and a similar sales motion.
Oh, because Jim does it?? his chips are also .39 cents to under $4 with the few exceptions of the high denoms
They’re from casinos which may or may not be mint chips, and they generally don’t have the vibrancy of the Tigers or NAGBs.
which everyone knows are in very limited supply as a real casino doesnt stock those chips in high quantities.. The numbers are also public if someone wants to find them as was done in many chiproom sales causing fits by some. These are made to order. What makes something a collectors item? Knowing the supply...... Not just that the supply is limited...
I don’t really understand what you’re getting at here.
I don't fault anyone from buying them for a second, if you want them go ahead but I've spoken with a lot of people that wont buy at these prices not knowing if a flood of chips is out there to be revealed later, you know, like a hoard....
That’s the free market everyone crows about here - it’s their choice to purchase or not.
What happens to the price of a chip when a "Hoard" is discovered?
It drops. Not sure how that relates to chips that were specifically created by members here to distribute to other members via sales.
I've also been explained to (whether true or not) that there is an open order with GPI and more can be produced at will if this is the case why would anyone pay 1500 a rack for $2 chips that can be made any time.....
Speculation, your honor.
If it's to protect the profits, just say it....
You really gonna fault him if he wants to protect his pricing after putting god knows how much money out up front?
P.S. I haven't once bitched about the prices of his chips either, profit is good, but I seem to remember some bringing out the pitchforks when I ran the Lakeside Inn sale and a few others..... Making a choice to buy a rack of chips for $1500 dollars should at least come with knowing how many are out there. @Spinettis Gaming has never refused an inventory amount on chips as why would I buy not knowing if I could get something playable.

He made an investment, it’s paying off, people are getting chips that they love, what’s the problem here? That he didn’t create more so everyone can have them?

This place sure got weird in the last few years. Flippers are great, we’re a community, this guy gets vilified for selling pretty dope GPI chips….

At Gematria is dead. You’re welcome, erybody.

Had a nice exchange with @kk405 and it’s always good to hear from the source. As I have said to many who have messaged, texted, called etc. If you have questions feel free to reach out to him.

Thanks Ken for the chat. Good luck on your sales. I would hope that the numbers come out when all the sales are complete and the flippers can’t sell based on their version of the facts and not the actual facts.

As for you @bergs your usual attempt to context my comments is appreciated but just that. Garbage. I was grateful to Ken for speaking with me I don’t really need your speculation on his take. Thanks.

I beat Gematria. At least respect that.

TIGER QUESTION

I linked up with @rustycheerio on a chip, and I need a question answered.

Calling the color expert!

Mr. @JeepologyOffroad

The color chart says T1000 is canary. As I put it next to random chips from my set, I’m torn in figuring out what’s what.

So what color is the fantasy fan of card stamp chip below? Yellow, Canary, Tiger Fur?
