If I'm Magic or Stan Kasten, I'm saying screw it. I'm paying to have rings made for all my players, I'm playing a socially distanced and live streamed parade through LA, firewords, all that shit. I'm putting up championship banners and everything else around the stadium, eff Manfred.

Oh, and Joe Kelly is mos def getting an honorary ring (I'm ignoring his time with the Sox, idc, dude is now a bonafide king)

Me in August: Clippers are doing well without major contributors, Dodgers sporting the biggest run differential, and Carr is tired of being disrespected. Wonder what a parlay of LAC/LAD/OAK (not ready to write LAV) championships pays out.

Me in a couple months: Clippers got injured in the playoffs again, Kershaw crumbled down the stretch, and Marcus Mariota wrapped up another 8-8 season for us. Fml.

I don't buy that Tatis missed the take sign. A 3-0 count with bases loaded and a 7-run lead? You don't need a sign from the third base coach, you just need situational awareness.

Poor sportsmanship from a guy that was thinking about himself, IMO.

Exactly. You're swinging in that count all day, every day. Especially with the Padres atrocious bullpen. And way to throw your budding superstar under the bus.

Aren't these PROFESSIONAL players? If they don't want to get completely skunked then STOP THEM!

I understand some of the unwritten "mercy" rules like not stealing 2B with the first basemen playing off the bag when your team has large lead, but a game isn't called off if a team is leading by 7 runs. Play the game until the end, it's not impossible for a team to overcome a 7 run deficit. The A's scored 5 runs in the 9th on Friday night.

September 4 2002 - biggest event (in my opinion) in baseball history. Oakland blows an 11 run lead to win in the end with a walk-off shot. 20th straight win.

If a team that hot can blow an 11 run lead, NEVER LET UP! You just don't know.

Carter Hart caught the puck behind the net in OT and carried it to the front of the net. That's a penalty. Instead, he gets a stern talking to and the Flyers get a tip in front to escape the dumpster fire that was their third period.

Gg, Flyers. See ya Thursday.

Oh dear goodness.

Gronk, Evans, Godwin, & Leonard Fournette, with backups OJ Howard and McCoy/Ronald Jones.

That cabinet is pretty damn full.
Love it! I get to root for two teams this year - the Patriots and the Tampa Bay Bradys

Tell New England to fill their roster holes elsewhere.
