The Life of a Pisces! (4 Viewers)

Good game tonite. We still had 6 players left with blinds at 3/6K! Everyone kept doubling up the low stacks, and pushing stacks around. Went card dead, and tried to create my own luck. It didn't work. Finished 4th. Here's a pic of my stack, when it was the largest!

View attachment 20229 View attachment 20230 View attachment 20231 View attachment 20232 View attachment 20233 October has been a little hectic, but I thought I would update this thread. The 2nd weekend in October, I went to the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque! The wife is from there, and was excited to have me experience it for the first time. I definitely recommend everyone go at least once in their lifetime!
Cool pics. I'd like to see that sometime. We have the Great Balloon Race for the Kentucky Derby Festival and I really enjoy it. I used to work every weekend when I was a kid and always seen them fly over head while I had to work. So I never work that Saturday anymore and go watch them take off and land. Kids or no kids lol. They've long out grown them:oops:

Hosted the league again last night. Big tourney we have every 10 weeks, more chips, double the buy-in, and double points towards the league title. Pic of my starting stack. Unfortunately, it only went down from there. Didn't win a hand. Ran the 2nd nuts into the nuts a couple times. Lost a big hand with AQc, when flop came Qh, 7c, 4c. Got it all in with the short stack( the only guy running worse than me at the time). SS turns over pocket 7s, for the flopped set. Tourney mercifully came to an end, when I ran pocket Queens into pocket Kings, PF.
Ran much better in the cash game. We played a lot of 7-card stud, which always makes me happy!

Hmm, not sure how I missed this thread. I like the picture of, I assume, Ralphie.

I think my wife could give you guys a run for your money as dyed-in-the-wool Broncos fans.

She grew up in the Springs, graduated from CSU, was deputy director of PR for Governor Dick Lamm way back when, and used to travel with the Broncos to away games (perk of dating the GM). As a result, she really likes Dan Reeves, but doesn't think a lot of Elway.

Among other things, I wake up every morning to the sight of two Broncos bobbleheads on top of her dresser...it's a sickness, I tell you, a sickness.

You're just using this thread to brag about that massively awesome PNY set ;) I could look at stacks of those hundos and 500s all day long.

That wasn't my intent, but having this thread doesn't hurt. :whistling: The primary hondo is one of my favorite all-time chips. If you make it to the CO Meetup next August, you can see the whole set in person!

Senior Night in Boulder! Everyone decked out in all black. As season ticket holders, we got a free upgrade to the Touchdown Club! (They're trying to sell more of these seats for next season) It's a small exclusive seating area on the North Endzone. Private entrance, wide padded seats, servers, etc. I could get used to this life!:) The private entrance takes you right past a display with 90 NC trophy! Unfortunately, the Buffs came up a few points short. It would have been nice to see them beat SC.

On the grind again! Two guys from the Thursday Night League are co-hosting a charity event for their daughter's softball team. Here's a shot of the starting stack;

Nice! Love these things, sooooo solid and heavy. My set breakdown (last time I counted):

105 x T1
10 x T2.50
289 x T5
239 x T25
221 x T100
124 x T500
199 x T1000
29 x NCV
--------------
1216 total

In the process of picking up 59 x T5000 Gulfports as well. Badly need one more T1000 to complete that rack. :)

Cash game just around the corner from my house. .25/.50, with rotations of Omaha & Holdem. Good game, the only bad thing is the chips:eek:. In for $20, cashed out with $96
