Long shot here I know, but do you guys think I’d have any luck finding (50) more of the light purple greens anywhere...? Preferably blank (no labels).

Does anyone happen to know when the blank light blue will be in stock again?

Is it hard to rip off the labels if I were to buy the pre-labeled Royals? I’d hate to spend the time doing that if it’s a PITA.

Anyone know if they are all mixed? Did I get the end of light purple and the beginning of blurple?
I ordered 150 green and got 100 light and 50 blurple.
I didn't even notice earlier when I got them.

I reached out to Apache, and they said all they had was the darker purple (strange you got some though *rolling my eyes*). You may want to try contacting them as well, and maybe they’ll realize the extent of the issue...? IDK, but it had me a bit upset. And in your case I would be very upset if I ordered all of them at the same time and didn’t get matching colors.

Ahhhh I see. Makes a bit more sense now.

My orders were as follows:

(50) greens w/ light purple - 3/3/20
(25) greens w/ blurple - 11/11/20

I bet when they got in their new shipment in spring of 2020, they were all blurple.

You definitely got a mix of both. You guys made me look closer at my chips. Fortunately, all 400 of mine are the same - the lighter version.

Wow - this thread rocks! I've completely devoured all 24 pages and decided to go with Royals for my cash set. Our group plays micro at .05 / .10 with a $20 buy in. We may increase to .25 /.50 later on down the line but this is comfortable and friendly for us.

Has anyone paired their Royals with Majestics? I thought it could be fun if all the cent chips (nickles and quarters) were smaller and from the Majestics (see row A).

How does Row B look in terms of color breakdown for the denominations?

Personally, I like row “B” better, but I’m not a fan of Majestics.

Yes, this is indeed a great thread full of great info and fans of the Royal chips.
 
Hey Guys!

Noob here considering a set of 600-700 Royals for my cash game. Since these are oversized chips, I will be needing new racks and a case to keep them in. By searching, I found that the Apache 3800 seems to be perfect, along with the Matsui racks. My local Harbor Freight has the case, but I can't seem to find the racks anywhere.

Can anyone point me to where I can pick up some Matsui racks?


EDIT: After searching a bit more I found these racks from Apache. Since they literally have Royals in the rack, I assume these are what I need...?

First of all, welcome to PCF @TheYeti ! Yes, those Apache racks were designed to mimic the Matsui racks, so they work perfectly. I have many of them myself and use them for my Royal chips. I also have two Apache 3800 cases. You'll be all set if you get all of them.

Thanks for the confirmation, Himewad! How many racks have you fit into the 3800 case? I'd like to be able to fit 7 racks plus two decks of cards....doable?

Personally I’d go with all Royals. The colors are much better and my group loves the oversized chips. I’d also go more traditional, and replace the .10 with pink and move the vibrant green to the $20 and make that into $20. The black doesn’t do much for me compared to the rest of the colors. Good luck and post picts once you finish!
