Today got the USPS shipping notice , of my order near 900 high denoms chips for play a home " one drop" replica . time to wait this chipies long travel and European customs

4100 and no notice either. Must be going smallest to biggest (except for Apache)..... :)
Tomorrow will come!

Edit: I just checked UPS shipping for 6 boxes at 25lbs each for overnight Saturday delivery: $1500.00 since I only paid $119 for shipping I guess they won't be here by Saturday....... ;) ;)

$165 for shipping???? That's over $27 per box???
 
I'm not sure I've ever gotten a shipping notice for anything coming from Palm (and that's shipping to a US address, even.) Maybe it's just me? or my email is getting spam filtered somewhere along the way?

Update from Kim (as part of an email regarding payment for my dealer buttons):



"Not all orders were able to be shipped today. We were short on people today. All orders that did not ship today will be going out on Monday."


Just FYI. She also indicated that although she tried, she wasn't able to send shipping confirmations to everyone that had their orders shipped today. I'm glad they spent time on actual shipping, and not as much on emailing out shipping notifications. Sounds like they're working hard.

Still no shipping notice for me! So I will literally be the last order they ship or they just haven't had time to send me my shipping notice. Still hoping they run out and they let me buy customs for free :)
 
Waiting on 2200 chips with no shipping notice. I've waited 2 years, a few more days won't hurt . They will get here soon enough.

I got a letter asking for clarification as to send my blanks or to hold them until I order labels. It's a little like the dreamy new girl saying "Hi" while walking past me in the middle school hallway - not what I was hoping for, but it's something!

That said, I am glad they are sticking to 100% customer service. On the down side, I can most assuredly be waiting until Monday for shipment. Luckily, I have the CPC chips to hold me over.

Despite feigned panic, I too am grateful for all the hard work put into this GB. +1 Parrot. Well said.
 
Of my 150 Almond $1, 100 Red cash $5 and 150 Pink $.25, About 30% of their labels have space underneath. You can press down on the label and feel it re-stick. Some seem to stay stuck, others puff back up over time. Also, about 10% of the labels on these chips are visibly detached where you can pop them off with your finger. I ended up removing the detached ones and gluing them back on, but man, that's poor quality imo.

Can I ask if you received these in the first or second batch? Also, were there any environmental factors (crazy cold temps, etc...)?

Fer sure. First batch. Likely cold temps per Canadian winter but tourney chips in same shipment were not effected.
 
I wouldn't call it "poor quality", I'd call it < 30¢ per chip quality.

It's a little like staying in a suite at the Wynn for 30¢ a night, but being upset that 10% of the bulbs in the room were burned out during your stay. Not acceptable at full price, but "ah, now I know why I got such a good deal" quality.

These chips, on a good day, are not a 30c night at the Wynn. Maybe a $30 night, but I get what you're saying. They're going in play this evening for the first time. It shall be their true test.
 
I used mine in the last tourney I hosted. My players loved them, and also think I'm nuts to buy them, since I have a Yak tourney set which works well. I bought into the CPS gb before the Yaks were used, and I've grown fond of them over the past two years.

At this point, number of players will decide which set gets used (the ceramic set is larger).
 
I'm in the same boat, sort of. My CPC set has arrived to replace my current chips and was put into play in 1 game already. By the time the next game rolls around the CPS chips will be here, and I will put them into play, despite the fact that the CPC's will undoubtedly smoke the CPS chips away, and not because the CPS chips are bad.

Still, having 3 sets to decide which to use? First-World chipper problems.
 
Our monthly game was last night, unfortunately the chips will be here Wednesday... :(
but we put one of the dealer buttons into play and it performed as expected and everyone was happy with it. ;)
