Not as bad as I initially thought - TBH. I assumed the standard fare, PM snipe behind closed doors - lol. At least it was out in the open and not done underhandedly. Bad etiquette…yeah, it is.

A good coaching moment for a noob.

This is the #1 reason why I have not (and likely never will) order from them. I assume most people wouldn't care.
 
Little league ump with a God complex who makes a terrible game altering call, then repeats it 3 times in a row to prove a point and because they can. In the league championship game mind you.

And getting thrown out of the championship game when your son is pitching and brings the team back from being down 5 to win the game in extra innings, despite the bullshit ump. That really sucked.

The Ump was way out of line. The good news is the head of the Ump association was the Base Ump in the game. He’s not going to overturn his Umps calls, but after the ump threw me out, he pulled him aside and told him to knock it off or he would start.

[He threw me out for clapping when my son struck a kid out, but the ball hit him (the ump) in the chest pad and said I was clapping b/c the ball hit him. No bullshit]

As an umpire, that’s not good. Not good for the game, the kids, or the bad rap umps are getting these days. Bad calls happen, but not learning from them and trying to get better is BS.

Agree, I have a lot of respect for LL umpires. Most of them do a great job. It’s a long day on your feet, in the sun. They do it b/c they love the game.

This guy just had a chip on his shoulder and not sure why.
