I’d say it’s the weakest of the 4 by far. I’ve got them on dvd and never bother watching the first series. The rest are genius. If you like Blackadder you should give Upstart Crow a go. It’s brilliant.

I've always been into medieval and earlier history, so that series always appealed to me. I've not watched the rest, other than the odd episode. Maybe I should

Mate you’ve got to watch the rest. The first series is a non-event. You’ve got some of the finest comedy talent from the last 30 years in there Rowan Atkinson, Rik Mayall, Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie to name but a few.

If you want to watch something medieval go watch Braveheart :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

If you can find episodes it’s worth watching. The episode “beer” in the second series is brilliant.

I intended to post a question asking about this (our hotel wasn't too far away), but I held off as it looked like out trip was in jeopardy. Way before the government shut things down, my wife wanted to postpone the trip because Trey has asthma, which could be problematic with the COVID19 stuff ramping up.

Anyway, thanks for the tip... I'll be looking to stop in when the trip gets rescheduled, if we sail out of New Orleans again.

+1 to Harrah's being excellent. I also like their table fee instead of a rake. It kind of punishes the nits, which makes the tables a bit looser.
