The best thing about poker movies is getting to moan about how shite the chips are  :ROFLMAO:

Apart from Rounders. The best thing about that movie was the chips… (don’t @ me)

Meh, it’s got a couple good uses. Great at coming up with bedtime stories. 4 year old will ask for something crazy “story about princess from snow mountain and lava monsters” and it does decent
Wont trust it to handle a trust fund but helps translating grammar between different types of coding languages. Very niche and something AI should be damn good at, but Ive messed around with it.

Eliminating this would have been bad...

But by T6, I'm kinda rooting for Skynet.

Paris (its suburbs and rest of France) turning again to Gotham City :(

Wednesday night:

Last night:

According to the initial investigation, the two motorcycle policemen wanted to control the car, which was speeding along Tuesday morning "on a bus lane" in Nanterre and "in view of the apparent young age of the vehicle's occupants", he described. "The prosecutor added: "A number of factors point to a number of breaches of the Highway Code, in particular the crossing of crosswalks, endangering a pedestrian and a cyclist. The car, with three occupants inside, "continued on its way", followed by the two motorcyclists, before getting stuck in traffic, according to the magistrate. The two police officers then dismounted and "shouted at the driver to stop", positioning themselves "on the left side" of the car, "one at the driver's door, the other near the front left fender", according to the prosecutor.

During their hearings, they stated that they "both drew their weapons" and "pointed them at the driver to dissuade him from restarting by asking him to turn off the ignition", he said. "As the vehicle restarted, the policeman near the fender of the vehicle fired once at the driver," fatally hitting him. "The vehicle continued on its way [...] before crashing into a piece of street furniture at 8:19 am". The officer who fired the shot administered first aid to the driver before the fire department arrived. "Despite these efforts, the driver was pronounced dead at 9:15 a.m."

That’s fucking nuts. Stay safe mate.

Damn that’s awful. Stay safe.

Any kind of payment processing fee. It's a big lie to rake in more. Isn't the payment part of the big pot where operating expenses are recovered? I'll bet my whole chip collection that these fees are buried in the books and the processing fee is a way of of ramming us one more time.

The fact I like Mirage chips but I hate Mirage as a casino because they treat me like shit, like a criminal who harvests chips to cheat.

Also table manager said racist things twice to me, which I hate people talking about my looks. The type of people I never want to be friends with. They technically don’t have customer service, almost like a figurehead.

Since I know I’ll always have a bad treatment at Mirage (never happens at tribal casinos or other strip casinos), so people here flip me your $1s and $5s! Make money off me! Cheaper than having a bad time or feel racially discriminated.

I love The Mirage, but one time I was playing craps and talking about how much I liked the hundo. I was trading for chips with other people at the table for the lowest serial number they had. Then this fcking dealer agrees how cool it is and suggests I drill a hole through it and make a key-chain. Basically the same thing (joking). I bit my tongue, colored-up, and left.

Oh wow whoever was so nice. I had a dealer who pick out mint $5s and sell to me, which I tipped. Then the manager to the dealer was like "NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING! STOP!" She yelled to the dealer... then said "nobody collects chips like these, you're lying you and your friends collect chips"

Most were mean, dealers were ok but the managers are mean as hell. Once accused of cheating and using fake ID, which I filed a complaint to NGCB. Also, had cops involved (called LVMPD non-emergency instead of 911) because they were overly racist. They tried to call, so I called them! Maybe one lost their job but hey karma pays off. Cops said both of my IDs are real, so they were pissed to the manager like why waste our time?!

Did the same thing twice since they did the same thing twice, MGM ownership and HR.

So if you get nicer chips, I will pay you a premium. I don't want more drama there

And they shredded all the Golden Knights chips after the change of ownership, so save them.

Don’t know where else to post this, so it goes here.

I am in Hawaii celebrating my parents 80th birthdays. Today, I was walking through a Tommy Bahamas store and the place was packed. I heard a guy say to his (I presume) wife, “I am going to buy the poker chip set”. It completely threw me off my game, completely forgot why I was in the store. All I could think was, “don’t do it buddy! Let me help you!!”

After I walked around the store in a complete fog of disbelief caused by what I had heard, I decided that I would go to find the guy and save him from himself. I couldn’t find him!!!

I don’t know how I will sleep tonight.

I feel your pain. Sometimes ignorance is bliss though:

”So listen, don’t buy these, there’s this place online called PCF and…”

The guy would probably have explained to you that these are “official casino weight” and not like those 10g weaklings that you were trying to push on him  :ROFLMAO:

Either that or he would just look at you dumbfounded when you told him that for the $20 he was spending on his set you could buy a single chip from some obscure closed down casino he’s never heard of…

Only after I got back to my hotel, did I know exactly how dire the situation truly was!!
