Things That Are Bullsh*t (5 Viewers)

It's been a month and a half since Delta lost my luggage on our trip to Sweden.

We know exactly where it's at. It was delivered to the hotel almost 3 weeks after we had left Sweden. Delta considers the luggage "delivered" and therefore the matter closed. Hotel has been in contact with me, but I can't exactly swing by to pick it up.

Combined, we have spent over 5 hours on the phone with their service center in "Texas" (the poorly spoken English by every person we've talked to would indicate that "Texas" is the name of their call center located somewhere in India). The last person said "It was delivered, and you know where it's at, so it isn't lost".

Omg what idiots. Obv I could go pick em up if the hotel wants it out of there but then what? I don’t understand how they can consider it delivered when they were three weeks late

Well, if you were to pick it up, we would have to change our status from "out" to "in" for Stockholm Syndrome II. However, you'd have to store the suitcase for a year, and I'd hate to ask that of anyone.

Hey great idea! Then you’re good to go with just your carry-ons :)

Not a problem, unless you know…

Hey, perfect opportunity to visit Oslo! It's only a nice train ride away from Stockholm.

Yup. I've never understood how it's funny to just say something that isn't true.
But that's probably not the only hole in my sense of humor.
So it wasn’t true? I didn’t care enough to start googling and watch South Park clips in order to get the joke

Cmon now, I can see posting my faux reveal in a "Not funny thread", but I don't know that it's bullshit per se.

Lol I think this is what was missed by the people that didn't get it. It wasn't just a fake story or a lie. It's a pretty widely known running gag that is a bit like rick rolling, or even a knock knock joke. To have a story that seems legit and get people interested, only to have the "gotcha" of it turning out to be the Lochness monster asking for "tree fiddy".

It's pretty ubiquitous and commonly seen on many social and communication platforms.

Selling cut cards for two to three dollars or more apiece. That's bullshit.
Or maybe buying them for that price is bullshit.
Either way, you've all gone nuts.
Well I know I paid out some creative fees and set up fees and then lost money selling them under $2 a card so idk…

30, 40, 50 year old adults screaming at a 6 year old girl. Coaches putting a bounty on the same 6 year old’s head, and then secretly filming the results.

I think everyone should have kids! You learn *a lot* about yourself. Unfortunately, you also find out that some of those same people really shouldn’t have had them in the first place

Damn near puts tears in my eyes watching parents and other coaches treat children this way.

You did great TJ, way to ball out today.

Wait what? That’s insane

I asked the coaches to handle their parents. “I can’t tell them what to say”.

She just blossomed today, tiny little thing and probably forced like 20 jump balls (literally). The other team got frustrated with her and started taking cheap shots. Parents yelling at her this isn’t football.

Meanwhile she played the whole game because we only had 5 kids and only ended with 5 fouls.

Really just stinks because everyone just wants to be proud of her, meanwhile her parents have to worry about this kind of nonsense.
