Yesterday, the doorbell rings and there is some guy and the front door that we don't know.

My wife speaks with him. Turns out he found my son's wallet in the middle of the road about a mile from the house. He stopped, picked it up, and got our home address off my son's license. All the money and the debit card are inside; the money is a modest amount, for sure, but it was a lot of money to a 17 year old kid who makes $11/hour. The Good Samaritan wouldn't take a reward and wouldn't even leave a name/address/phone so my son could thank him (he was at work when the guy came over).

When I asked my son about it, he said he couldn't find it yesterday morning going to work outs. Tracing his steps back, he thinks he left it on his car as he drove home from somewhere, and it fell off making a turn in the intersection.

I remember losing my wallet when I was 17... it had about $100 in it, plus all my IDs that needed to be replaced. My son learned two valuable lessons, relatively cheaply: 1.) think of others before yourself, and 2.) always know where your wallet is.

It makes me happy that there are still decent human beings in the world.

I really needed to hear that. Since the pandemic, my faith in humanity has hit rock bottom.

May have shared before, but when I joined the forum just over a year ago I was working on my first Paulson set... Aces Casino and Sports Bar, RHC Giant inlays. Most say they suck and ohh they are everywhere!! My experience finding these chips was much different! With help like @ChaosRock and a few other members I was able to get my set almost finished!! We all have that slump at the end when you just need a few more chips to finish off the masterpiece... and you simply can not find them!!

I reached out to Larry with a hope and a prayer that maybe he could help me finish my dream set! I sent this photo!

As you can see soo close but yet... for an OCD person, not finishing those racks will make you loose sleep at night!!

Larry responded saying please send your address... could have blown me off... said screw you noob I'm not breaking my set!! Sold me the chips at or below original sale prices... AND EVEN SENT SPARES IN CASE WE LOST ONE, FREE OF CHARGE!!!

I couldn't believe how willing a veteran member was to help a no name like myself!! Larry these chips will always be my babies, and I will never forget your help sir!!

When I saw the pic of underage girls, I just figured, "This is a photo of some guys daughter, and she just made the cheerleading team." Not Something I would consider an "accomplishment", but sure... some people aspire to such things.

To find out he wants to bang his daughter... that's where it gets weird.
