Acceptance with academic scholarship for Ace and a new employment package for me.

Ace may not end up going to Wayne State...but he's 3-for-3 on applications (Michigan State and UM-Dearborn) with all three offering scholarships.... he's waiting to hear from UChicago before making a decision.

I got news on Nov. 16th that last Friday was going to be my last day at my current employer. 2020 just keeps on giving. I spent the evenings last week and the weekend sending out resumes. I got a text yesterday setting up an interview. It went well, but with the holidays and COVID, they weren't looking to start the position until January. They asked me where else I was looking and when I told them, they asked me if I could start next week. I think they didn't want to lose me to another offer... Same pay, better bonus structure, better benefits and better fringes. They have an arcade in the office (with Super Chexx) and a golf simulator. They bring in a pro every Monday and you can sign up for lessons. Oh yeah, and they have a branch in Las Vegas. I'll be flying solo until January, and then I'll have 2 people working for me.

I truly have alot to be thankful for this year.

Damn good post brother!! Fantastic job! Makes me happy just thinking about it... The Kiddos are going to love it!! (try to keep them out of their parents hands!!)

Can you post what the kits are that the kids are getting or is that not allowed?

Man I would love to see some pics of you guys giving them out!! warms my heart!!

We ALL have that problem. That’s why we look for outstanding men like yourself to step up to the plate and provide us all that special home away from home. Take one for the team, as the saying goes. ;)
