Things that make you Happy (2 Viewers)

Somewhat back to civilization to post a couple pics. ATVs near Vernal Utah. At the archery shoot the cougars were hitting on my 22 yr old son.

Cornstalk shooting? That’s a thing, not shooting them standing, you build a target at each end of the range of cornstalks stacked in three foot high bundles. Like horseshoes, you shoot two arrows, going back and forth, and if you hit the target you count how many stalks you pierced. Play to 21. The cool part is that everyone lined up and shoots at the same time. So if you have a couple dozen people it’s pretty impressive to see the flights go. It’s an old Cherokee game

Looks like an old school Easton 2117 aluminum Arrow! Exactly what I still shoot to this day! Tell him watch that index finger up like that, I have seen flechongs slice fingers open believe it or not.

Looks like a lower poundage bow 50/60 pound limbs probably launching that monster at about 220 fps... he should be fine. Lol

No sights, no stabilizer, only traditional neck rest... pretty damn cool man!

I did attend and DJ a benefit bow shoot a couple years ago at a local archery shop and shot a Mathews old school fingers bow with no sight, similar to this set up and we had a blast. I won the Adult tournament with 3/3 balloons @50 yds! 1/3 @60 yds. All shooting sightless finger bows I beat their two pros and the shop owner. I wasn't even planning on participating. Lol

Enjoy your trip Mike! Looks like your are living life to the fullest with those you love, making those amazing forever memories! Thank you for sharing my friend!!

I do this like every week! Lol

I was right swipe deleting on my phone and realized I had 25,000+ promotions messages. I just jumped on my laptop and killed them all at once.

Gmail does such a good job of filtering spam, I never knew there were that many Promotions messages in spam. Turns out I get about 40 per day. Every day.

I will give them that, I probably accrue 50+ spam emails a day, and who knows how many promotions, I usually clear em all out after checking for anything important (sometimes spinettis and offer up are in the folder)

Getting the trailer loaded up with brush to the top of the hill!!! Had to do a little dual assist, but she's out and we can get it to the dump to load it back up!

Getting truly stuck is not in a self proclaimed Rednecks vocabulary... just have to put the thinkin cap on and come up with so ridiculously stupid and not safe way of getting the job done!

No joke the trailer was seriously stuck down in the Holler for almost 2 weeks! Lol

I admit, I must have stared at this picture for way too long and then had to read @Ben8257 's post to really understand what was going on.

Hmm best shot of where she was

May look dry but will have to get another shot later. There is a spring coming out of the ground to the right of the trailer... we have been taking all of the rock off our property and basically making it a giant french drain, but clearing trees and mulching without adequate sunlight has left that area a bit wet...

I didn't think about it and left the truck hooked to the trailer while we went to @Seeking Alpha Social Club meet up just over a week ago. When I went to come out of the bottom, even in 4 low the old truck just sunk in the ground... had to un hook the trailer with the tractor and got the truck out but way too much weight on that trailer. The ground up above on the next flat was dry, but I couldn't just pull the trailer with a rope as it would nose dive and plow the whole way out. So we used the Backhoe bucket to lift the nose of the trailer and I pulled the trailer! Lol

Merica!!

I wish I took before and after of my whole property, my first year there I took 58 loads 6 - 7 foot high of rotten trees and branches to the dump! The 6.5 acres had maybe 3/4 of an acre cleared and usable. We are probably up to about 3 plus now, not clear cutting, select cutting smaller invasive trees like Tulip Poplar that are taking over and killing 200 plus year old monster Oak trees. Its truly upsetting that the neighbors just want "natural" basically means lazy and let it do its thing... when these crappy soft trees can take over in just 15 or so years and killing trees that have been for centuries...

They call me the termite, I am taking their privacy. But last time I checked I am paying the mortgage on my land. The neighbors kids all play in the bottom and the river down below... I want it safe for them and beautiful for us!

It’s all opening up fast now!

Still should have come to Jersey, but have fun and run good!

With Meet ups at the end of May and AUG there wasn't any way I could make this work. Plus this weekend its my wife's turn to go out of town. I have to stay with the dogs. Turns out I'm hosting a meet up of sorts. I should have two tables of players both days!

nice bx! Looks like my 23s - my little mule can do more than you'd think it could. I am constantly moving my fieldstone wall by mistake while mowing... barely catch a 200 lb stone and see it slide over as I mow on by.
