Things that make you Happy (5 Viewers)

Spending 20 minutes loading 6,282 coins into the change machine at my credit union. It makes me happy because it is now money that can be used, it is not taking up space in the house, and it is a free service. I can live with 20 minutes of my time for $$. :D
20 minutes of work for what was at a minimum $62.82? I need that for a job instead of what I got

Not necessarily “happy”, but it made me chucke.

My wife is about to go into surgery, having an ablation as a result of afib in Feb…. But I digress.

The cardiologist doing the procedure ….

His name is David Spragg. Spelled the same way. (Very nice guy, just met him)

I was going to ask him for a complex spot pattern on her left ventricle, but figured I’d wait and pass on that….. :ROFLMAO:

I was about to put this in the "Things that are bullsh*t" thread when I realized it belongs here.

My kid broke his arm today (snapped it like a twig on the playground just doing normal kid things). I spent half the day at the hospital. I should be upset, but reflecting on it, I am so amazed with how everyone did everything right today. From the other parents on the playground supporting us, to the Lyft driver getting us to the emergency room and finding a wheelchair, from the nurses and doctors who were professional and kind to a little boy in pain, to my wife who rode to the rescue with love and comic books, to my youngest son who insisted on staying by his big brother holding his hand and drawing him pictures. And of course, my boy, who despite pain and fear was so brave and came through it with grace.

So, yeah, in an odd way, my son breaking his arm made me grateful...if not exactly happy.
