THIS is a TRK chip (3 Viewers)

I think it is. Why would someone use @ChipGuide as a handle here if they were not affiliated with the ChipGuide? Who else would it be then?
No sir, what I meant is regarding writing all the code and donating 1000's of hours to the club doing it! But I could be wrong.

As far as Identifying themselves, that would be a common courtesy I believe. And SHOULD be done.

Tell me you have no clue what you're talking about without telling me you have no clue what you're talking about.
In fairness, all the old school chippers have a flat bed scanned with CCD sensors and they do turn out a nice image accurately capturing the colors. My iPhone does a nice job to and is good enough for me...

I don’t know anything about what you just said. But I do know that a lot of old school chippers post pictures of chips that have completely wrong colors. I’ve won eBay auctions of pink and arc yellow chips for cheap money because they looked whitish-gray on eBay. An iPhone would never do that.

Agreed, same here on buying off color chips but those were probably all scanned on a 4 in one printer/scanner/fax/whatever with a CIS sensor. You have to get a standalone, Epson Perfection V600 scanner or similar with a CCD sensor complete with software on a CD-ROM is what the really hardcore chippers have.

Is this a troll? I can't even tell.
Time for me to upgrade.

RETURNED is « returning » my image.

I just want them to be REMOVED. You have nothing about REMOVING.

But the main point is I OWN the rights and copyright.
So whatever you write, I still can ask removal.

RETURNING has nothing to do with REMOVING.
Thanks.

That is why we specifically say in our policy that SUBMITTED ITEMS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. We don't want to spend all our time processing images and then having to remove them because someone changed their minds.

Then why did you submit them if you don't want to share them?

Thanks.
Reason is : I own those images (and any crop/whatever you do) derivative as you already know. Croping is not enough to have any right on them. So there are still my images and I own the copyright and rights.

When you say « belong to TCG », belong has no meaning, legal or not.
Nothing « belongs » to you about those photos, sorry. I still own the copyrights and rights.
That’s a reality. Sorry.

So if you still want to know my reason it is a legit one, I don’t want anymore to share those pictures. Sorry.
Please consider my request.

I asked for a reason for the removal of your submitted images and you did not provide one. If there is a valid reason for the removal of the images, then we will do it.

Those pictures belongs to me. I own the rights and copyright.

So when I ask you to remove them; please do it.

I’m a French stupid bastard, so please do it.

I understand that you asked politely, but also understand that it takes a lot of work to process the submissions and then to remove them. It is not fair to the ChipGuide, which is why we have a policy that YOU AGREED TO when you submitted the images.

"ChipGuide Submission Policy Images and descriptions of items not currently on the ChipGuide may be submitted for consideration to be added to the ChipGuide. The ChipGuide has a submission form for this purpose. Upon submission, permission is granted to the Museum of Gaming History to use the item on the ChipGuide and for other purposes. Submitters must own the images submitted or have permission to submit them. At the discretion of the ChipGuide, submitted items may or may not be used and may be edited to meet ChipGuide guidelines. Submitted items will not be returned."

The reasons are mine. Just like the personal pictures I submitted.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks you very much for doing this.

This is my 16k modem. There are many like it but this one is mine. This modem is my best friend. It is my life. I must master my modem as I master my 4 color greyscale chip pics on thermal printer paper rolls.

Thus, why I trolled him by posting a pic from the Chip Guide:

View attachment 1090856

Which I took and submitted, and thus to which I possess the copyright.

Good point, @ChipGuide, you have to prove 2 things before you open your trap…

The legal identity of the submitter to your website, then the legal identity of the PCF user…Because hey, anyone could say the above, and how would you know otherwise?

Wait, you don’t ask for ID of your submitters? You base all these claims of “copyright” you have off of anonymous unsigned “permission” ?

Grow up and watermark your images if you want free residual advertising, but after reading this novel of a thread, I think it would attach your company to be the beneficiary of the images that you have illegally compiled and claim to have rights to.
