Time for a cocktail! (6 Viewers)

FU 2020 Margaritas!

Happy New Years all!

Made two Old Fashioneds, but didn’t snap photos. The first was with Old Forester 1920. So cherry! Yum. The second was with Knob Creek Single Barrel Select. The nuttiness really came through, especially juxtaposed with the OF 1920. It was also delicious and I usually prefer the higher proof. But my wife prefers nutty vs cherry, so she got that one.

Restaurant I picked food up has a speakeasy cocktail bar in the same building

so to get creative during Covid. the restaurant is offering cocktails from the cocktail bar in to go cans.
Outstanding !!

I’m a big margarita fan, if you want the same taste for half the cost and you have a total wine, try El Padrino to replace the Patron.
Will give it a try, thanks for the tip!

It’s been posted here a few times by others. Sometimes I use egg white, sometimes I don’t.

I usually use barrel proof Bourbon. I also bump it up to an ounce of Bourbon and 2oz of Amaretto.

I'm pretty sure this is my favorite sour recipe. Like you, I usually bump it to 2oz Amaretto and 1oz Bourbon, but I always use the egg white.

One of the few sweet cocktails that I could drink all night long.

I found a bottle of Lillet Blanc on sale this week, so I tried a Vesper martini last night. I gotta say that I really like it.

Botanist gin, New Amsterdam vodka, and Lillet Blanc. No lemon - I think it's just awesome as is.
