Hey all,

Looking for some feedback on a Wynn tournament chip tribute set I'm planning to some day get made onto 39mm Tina web mold hybrids.

Here are the reference images I've been working from, and by using the Paulson colour charts have made a best attempt to match.

This is the tribute set I came up with:

I changed the 25k chip from Radiant Red to Lime Green, not that we use that denomination very often for the home tourneys I run. I like that this also changes the 1k denom and looks similar to the $1 Caesars Palace, which was the first casino chip I collected.

I have concerns around the various gradient colours I'm using on the inlay. I know colour matching the inlay and chip is near impossible and I'm hoping for a 'good enough' result by just using the same CYMK values. I'll be happy enough if the colours are close but not quite, so long as theres not a stark difference.

Also if anyone has any thoughts on which bounty label I should use—I've been flipping back and forth and can't make up my mind.

As this is my first attempt at putting together a custom chip, any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.

Cheers!

I think the original Wynn chip has a very boring inlay design.

You've got a lot of empty white space on your inlay. Even if you just put a small graphic above the Woon script I think it would look a whole lot better.

I don't know what "Woon" means or is associated with, but if you wanted a small graphic, perhaps a small shape of Australia might work?

Your design certainly does look like a tribute to the Wynn and it's just fine. If anything at all, I'd say the 25000 chip could use just a little more contrast with the spots. You might try showboat gray, bronze or gold from the color palette and see how it looks.
Good Luck with your project.

Bring the text in closer from the edge. There are posts here about Tina not being very precise with their cuts or how much allowance they provide for artwork so close to the cut.

Even CPC has a strong recommendation of how close to the edge of the actual inlay you should place critical art elements simply so they don't get cut off.

Thanks guys!

I am a fan of the the minimalistic Wynn inlay design but I'll try add something into the background and see how it looks.

As mentioned it is a tribute set, just with my own logo added in so I was copying the design directly from the original inlay and colours (besides the 25k of course).
